SEGMENT 1 – Show Open: It was a relatively quiet day with baseball signing except Cueto Cueto really greato who signed with the Giants, The Cat still wants to see the Cardinals add a starter and suggests Mark Buehrle, Doug’s calm voice is soothing for anxious Redbirds fans, who will attend the Ugly Sweater Party at Hotshots Ballwin tonight, 65% of people polled in San Diego think this week’s Chargers game will be the last in their city … how many people in St. Louis believe the same, how do you take the required online poll in order to read content on STLToday.com, Doug watched The Voice and Adele instead of Monday Night Football, The Cat trimmed some shrubbery at home last night, Howard Stern has signed a 5-year extension with Sirius, Doug says we don’t have to workshop the dayparts here at 920, Charlie Blackmon is apparently a .241 hitter outside of Coors Field as a follow up to our discussion yesterday, hey it’s Aaron Miles birthday, Fred from the Poor Part of the Nail calls in to wish Tim and The Cat a Merry Christmas but tells Doug to suck it, #AudioFun with an add for a British Hardware store, Mike Lee is playing musical phone lines and talks about how much fun he had at the Holiday Party, a texter asks us for advice in talking his wife into an MMF, what do we know about Ty Detmer, Big Al wants Doug to wear just his suspenders for Mrs. Vaughn one night, “Mike” calls in to banter with Doug, the listeners have really taken to our Dear Abby format this morning, Larry Nickel checks in with his WWE Recap and discusses his affinity for taking selfies, Plowsy says his friends use Snapchat to send and received naked pictures, he goes on to explain how he saw his buddy in the buff while camping, would Anna-Marie prefer Tim to watch stag or Monday Night Raw, epic #AudioFun with Vince McMahon’s return to Raw.
SEGMENT 2 – Toto brings us back into segment, what would it be like if the TMA crew toured Africa together, Doug still hasn’t seen Planes Tranes and Automobiles, only Tim’s parents call him Timmy, a British model gushes about her threesome with Bieber, did Doug ever fancy the Biebs, this article had quotes of them while doing the act of love making, apparently the pictures of Justin did not do him justice, caller Adam enjoys sending naked snap chats to his male friends, Caller Adam is going to a celebs Christmas party, the most hated man on the show Rich from Maryland Heights in Arizona joins the program, Rich has high hopes for the Dbacks for the 2016 seasons, texters keep informing Tim that Stern is staying with Sirius XM Radio, Doug can’t figure out picture in picture on his television, Benjamin Hochman of the Post-Dispatch joins the program to talk all things St. Louis sports, Ben thinks the Cardinals still need to add a big bat whether that be in free agency or via trade, the Cardinals need to make more moves to keep up with the Cubs and Pirates, Hochman has little to no care for the Rams potential last home game in St. Louis, Hochman and Tim have some chemistry this morning, Hochman discusses the stadium issue for Rams, Chargers, and Raiders, if the Rams don’t leave for LA are they here in St Louis for good or would Kroenke look to move to Toronto or London? Will their be a big crowd for Thursday nights game against Tampa Bay? Ben doesn’t blame anyone that doesn’t want to spend their hard earned money to go downtown to watch the Rams game, is Tim secretly a drug mule?
SEGMENT 3 – MLB.com’s Richard Justice joins the program to discuss the wild MLB offseason, Justice analysis on the Cardinals offseason, how many games to the Cardinals win with the roster as of right now? The Cardinals are a very disciplined orginization, Justice thinks Gordon and Upton would be a great fit in St. Louis, Cardinals have an impressive group of young arms, spending the most money in December does not mean you win in October, Justice is high on Matt Adams and thinks him and Moss will do a fine job sharing the first basemen duties, how does Heyward fit into the Cubs lineup? Where will Chris Davis end up at and will his contract work out for said team? Why are the Cardinals not sold on Upton and was all in on Heyward? Is Cueto worth $130 million after his horrible second half to last season? David Hunn of the Post-Dispatch joins the program to talk about the Rams Stadium update, the board of alderman is meeting in a half hour and the vote is scheduled for today and Friday, the NFL is trying to make this work and get a team to LA by next NFL season, NFL does not like certain parts of the Rams stadium plan, Demoff has been meeting with the task force discussing the stadium plan, all the NFL wants is the most viable plan possible for a new stadium, the NFL owners will vote based on politics and clicks they are affiliated with, don’t the NFL owners want to rap this stadium drama up as fast as possible?
