SEGMENT 1 – Big doings today, captain’s log, always enjoy speaking with Richard Deitsch of SI about sports media topics, college basketball selection show ratings were the lowest ever, trends of major sports from a revenue perspective, ranking of popularity quite obvious, college football has become more popular in recent years yet college basketball becoming less popular, one-year eligibility rule certainly has big effect on the sport, poor kids at Colorado State getting snubbed, The Cat has always been high on Lucky Jones of Robert Morris, that Joey Lunardi calling 66 out of 68 teams in his bracketology, Cardinals sending out Jaime Garcia for another start today, believe the Redbirds just do not really count on Garcia based on recent history, the left-handed pitcher has been quite persnickety, deciding that fifth starting pitcher, Carlos Martinez has not shown Doug enough, The Cat feels that Marco Gonzalez has been parallel, do not want anyone floundering out there, Doug thinks the ‘x-factor’ will be Garcia’s trade value, Tim thinks unloading (Garcia’s) dollars could be the move, countering other Jets talk programming with our Winnipeg Jets conversation, Ducks now lead the Western Conference plus Presidents’ Trophy standings, Blackhawks now just three points behind the Blues beating the Rangers last night, Doug wants the Hawks to go away, those annoying Blackhawks fans taking seats at Scottrade Center, Plow Boy does not care for the way those Hawks fans talk, weather this morning may cause Doug to take a nap mid-show, Doug almost suspending loyal sponsor Marco Bertarelli, okay to suspend sponsor, most of the cast has been put on suspension, no show notes from Alpena, no time this morning due to a combo of matters, Alpena filling on The Sports Wake Up for the ailing Dan Kertz, weather has our dobbers down, Doug quite grouchy this morning, rumor of Alpena talking smack on Doug’s cohorts at the TV station, only spoke of Steve Savard’s wonderful hair, texter Gene Rayburn sideways with Alpena over collegiate athlete compensation topic, Alpena elaborates, still not sure why Brett Somers was on “The Match Game”, that anti-semantic texter is back, most of the cast accused of being whiny this morning, shot in the dark drop from Plow Boy, nice Doug Vaughn like analysis from North Florida coach Matthew Driscoll, player for Dayton got pantsed during game last night, T.W. calls, this gentleman caller wants seven starting pitchers to break camp, T.W. wants to be first ‘brother’ suspended, Doug is sure that many of ‘brothers’ has been suspended, T.W. could be the Jackie Robinson of the suspension log yule, text line after Alpena this morning, he’s in the kitchen making a nibble, Alpena talks about his methods to stay tight n’ rewarding, taking some swimming classes, possible cuckold situation developing between Willie and listeners offering his wife, Willie shares his feeling on the matter, dude’s wife apparently not too shabby, he thinks he’ll be alright with husband watching, wondering what kind of nibble you bring to the cuckold, Doug not okay with the YMCA costing so much per month, letting out guttural moans whilst working out, The Cat sings “It’s Raining Men” whilst working out, Larry Nickel calls to correct the guys on Tatonka, something about Chris Chambliss, fighting through that crowd after winning the ’76 ALCS, Larry enjoying spring break in Alton, kind of tells us about his plans for the day, not too much on the agenda, hot pocket for breakfast, The Cat does not want to ask Willie about food in fear of getting him mad, Willie not hungry, Larry’s thoughts on listener choosing Willie over him for cuckold, Larry tells us about the time that he kissed Jeff Abeln’s girlfriend on the cheek suggesting those two seemed open to something, the career of Chris Chambliss, good way to stay tight n’ rewarding, getting ready for the Brentwood Forest pool season, wondering if some pools are open, usually around Memorial Day, wondering if it’s too early to get a pool boy, that time Tim and ProdJoe hung with Andy Dick, funny since they talked about him before going to Vegas, Andy wearing some kind of speedo tuxedo taking a liking to gentleman in their party (not ProdJoe), apparently ProdJoe saw Andy Dick alone with another gentleman in a hotel room, “in the cabana baby”, the other guys hanging with Andy Dick, tickling other gentlemen in the cabana, need some time kill music to find photo of Andy Dick…

SEGMENT 2 – “Invisible Man” inspired Corby Jones and the Missouri Tigers during the late 90s, should’ve been ready for those Cornhuskers, Tim feels he was never a ‘cool’ in his day, lots doing behind the glass, Willie taking phone call from gentleman telling him about conducting a cuckold, Willie also gets a call from former MLB Commissioner Fay Vincent because he missed interview yesterday afternoon, back to the cuckold guy…, Jim ‘the bull’ goes on the air, details about dealing with the husband trying to help Willie, ‘the bull’ feels Doug would be good for this life, pretty sure Mr. Smith has a cuckold going, Doug not breaking…, The Cat earns a suspension, Doug refusing advances, Doug will not go to Massa’s, Doug suspended Derrick Goold for not answering then having to speak with ‘the bull’, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch joins the show, fifth starting pitcher competition, Marco Gonazalez has been the best among the three, Carlos Martinez needs be more efficient if he wants the job, Jaime Garcia just needs to demonstrate sustainable health, wondering about Kevin Seigrest so far, left-handed reliever has been quite sporadic, developing concern with Trevor Rosenthal perhaps somewhat unfounded since he’s not been asked to throw many breaking balls, definitely pay attention to who’s catching for these pitchers, difference in comfort for pitchers with Yadier Molina and Tony Cruz which is not unusual, cleans bills of health for Lance Lynn plus Jon Jay, wondering what will happen with Peter Bourjos, battling with Randal Grichuk for outfielder roster spot, ball club has plenty of options for Bourjos, biggest issue for the ping pong champion has been timing, tell Mike Matheny “good luck!”, those Mets are a handful, nice work from the boys running weave to a live read, Doug describing how to do the weave, recapping the call from Jimmy ‘the bull’, Iggy thinks ‘the bull’ is full of ‘S’, getting Doug involved, might wear Bulls jersey to our first cuckold, Jimmy ‘the bull’ calls again to defend himself against Iggy, some confusion about Iggy having a wife, Alpena with a delightful comment about ‘the bull’, sniping Iggy, ‘the bull’ talks about his Navy boxing background, confusion over weight classes, did not use the “Howdy sailor new in town” comment in his day, found that Andy Dick pic, that show “News Radio”, no one dates each other here, Willie interested in the ladies of the downtown office, celebrities that have visited the studio, Kevin Nealon was good, pretty sure Jill Wagner had a thing for ProdJoe, Wagner’s doings these days, she wanted to hang with ProdJoe yet he could not make time, Doug disapointed in ProdJoe…, how things work at the cabanas in Las Vegas, husbands just looking for bulls like Willie, The Cat annoyed by DJ at the Vegas pool trying to play drinking games, reading the kindle while lounging on holiday, Iggy steps down…, not sure if we believe ‘the bull’, The Cat would not let Andy Dick into his hotel room & ProdJoe had his rules for girls (kids, dated athlete, odor, etc.)…

SEGMENT 3 – Tim’s theme song, Richard Deitsch of Sports Illustrated joins the show, cannot believe he’s considered one of our more well-received guests, oddity of collge basketball this season, lack of star power though some players stand out plus the historical chase by Kentucky, guess that ratings will do well for March Madness if Kentucky indeed makes a run all the way to the end, appeal from bigger markets though most successful college teams come from smaller markets, streaming broadcast rights, obviously more and more people are watching games through streaming device, example that Mets or Yankees do not stream locally because they wants TV ratings, the rates going through the roof for broadcasting rights with teams (especially baseball), guaranteed viewing, the obvious appeal of the broadcasts, possible trade recently happening between ESPN and Fox Sports 1 involving Katie Nolan, thoughts on Nolan’s new show, appeal to milennials, very hard to do comedy in sports, time slot on Sunday evening bit a of a killer spot, viewers still not really tuning into Fox Sports 1, Nolan as a woman doing sports, plenty of crappy sports shows out there being hosted by men, limit of role models for women in sports television, either stations have to recruit better or managers will have to start taking chances, system (tradition of system) does not help women, Doug amazed by the amount of beautiful sideline reporters, can usually tell who has journalistic instincts rather than basic TV personality, thought that some viewers care about some kind of journalistic sense, our experience with women in the industry, Chris Kerber of the St. Louis Blues joins the show, knows that the guys are trying to solve the world’s problems, not sure yet who’s starting goal tonight, Kerbs certainly has thought on how Hitch will play out the netminders, been killing off a lot of penalty kills, certainly a feather in the cap of team to win the Presidents’ Trophy, would want that home ice in the Finals, sense of fan base waiting for the doom, improvement on team faceoff percentage from past postseason clubs plays a big factor, Jets really have fits with the Blues when the home team is on their game, status of Kevin Shattenkirk, team definitely went into disarray right after Shattenkirk injury, Blues found the right back line combos, Shattenkirk on the trip still skating, the All-Star defenseman still on line for possible return in April, impressive rate in which Brian Elliott gets shutouts, has a lot to do with team in front of the goaltender yet they still have to make the saves, praise from the Calgary Herald after putting on clinic against Flames the other night, almost impossible imposing talented team in the first round of the playoffs at this point, margin of error not big, this franchise as well as team core needs a playoff run regardless of who they face & it’s been a big big day for the presentation.

SEGMENT 4 – The Cat envisions Willie as a bull pirate, comparing the cast to the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls, Tim having a juicy orange, seeing Dick Vitale talking Jim Boeheim on the tube, private home studio for big names, be nice to do the show from Florida, might all live together, support the sponsors, back to Dick Vitale who’s using a lot of hand motions for his segment, Vitale actually not like that in person, more of a TV gimmick, Tim wants to play tennis somewhere, Doug does not have a court in his backyard, nation turns it’s lonely eyes to (Doug) & Email of the Day.
