SEGMENT 1 – Show Open: Hello Andy Banker sitting in this morning with Chuck and Doug, thoughts on the Derek Jeter moments in his last game at Yankee Stadium, taking on the texters, Mizzou vs Illini banter, breaking down Andy’s calls as the Rams public address announcer, Doug would like the lights to be on when the Rams introduce players, the time Chuck and Andy went to London to cover the Rams, wondering if Andy will leave with the Rams, Andy gives an optimistic take with the future of the franchise, Doug has a 72 out of 100 concern level in regards to the Cardinals just up 1.0 game on the Pirates, need a big stick in the lineup, the possible scenarios for more games next week, that John Lackey gets fired up on the field & all incidents get blown all out of proportion these days.
SEGMENT 2 – Jim Thomas: Naming names, ripping people at other stations off the air, hello Jim, no middle name for JT, Shaun Hill still not healthy enough, the interesting rise of Austin Davis especially since he was behind Garrett Gilbert only about a month ago during the preseason, plenty of reasons besides Davis’ pick six the Rams lost to the Cowboys, the frustration with the new guys either not living up to expectations or not even playing, probably Aaron Donald who’s on rotation that’s been the best rookie thus far, the quality and quantity of penalties being called, preseason hockey not so bad compared to preseason football & Charlie having trouble controlling the others.
SEGMENT 3 – Picks of the Week: All-4-One, no outdoor peeing, time for the picks, digression how the NFL needs to bring in basketball players like Yao Ming to play tight end & Andy coining all news phrases like ‘Monsters of the Midway’ plus ‘Big D’.
SEGMENT 4 – Dave Matter: Liking some plays for fantasy this weekend, hello Dave, have to like the Mizzou offense against the South Carolina defense, Steve Spurrier not liking his team so far this season, hoping for more than just a bounce back game especially since this will be a high profile game on a slow matchup weekend & the latest word on Markus Golden.
SEGMENT 5 – Bill DeWitt III: Going with the “Scarface” music, hello Bill, the Startup Voodoo symposium at BPV, creating a more digital experience at Busch Stadium, now 11 straight season of 3+ million in attendance, how BPV has brought more fans to the ballpark area, expanding BPV in the near future, the continuing success of the ball club, the reach of Cardinal Nation all over the country, certainly a quirk in the market unlike few others & liking CBS Sports 920 as the anchor tenant for future office towers.
