SEGMENT 1 – Show Open: Big show today, Doug saw Charlie Marlow sitting across from him, no longer arms on the chairs anymore, quickly got fans ready for Game 5 of the Blues-Wild, big interview upcoming with Rams COO Kevin Demoff, no longer in-studio due to draft meeting, talking tickets as well as schedule but allowed to ask Demoff whatever we like, no interest in the upcoming 2015 NFL Draft in regards to the Rams plans, Charlie excited since he will be attending the draft in Chicago, team coverage from Chuck and the “Home of the Rams” (for the time being…), lots of phone calls this week, hearing that clip from “Angry Adam” the other morning, calling into the show is now what the cool kids are doing, get on that DraftKings with us, Tim giving some tips during the live read, those hot head Royals getting into another scrap, the last time Doug loved in Kansas, lot of weat turned into bread from Kansas, Charlie wants to lose some weight, taking vacation during “down time”, Chuck said this vacation was planned, not a bad plan, got in the water, did some stand up water boarding, did some fishing, Alpena did some stand up water boarding in Alpena, lot of fun with jet skis like that Kenny Powers who just picked up bitches, flying in and out PCB, disturbing news out of the Spring Break paradise this year involving high school student, captain’s log, almost certain that Strauss enjoyed Spring Break during his PCB days, Willie did not have a particular sound clip this morning regarding possible player protest/meeting between Game 3 and Game 4, green light for Vladimir Tarasenko, Blues apparently have to employ reverse psychology with ‘Frank’, Wild coach Mike Yeo now trying to play some mind games, Yeo says the Blues think they’re better, NHL dropping the puck about 15-20 minutes later than what schedule says two days before playoff game, more concessions, Doug doesn’t stand up at home when listening to the National Anthem, Doug doesn’t mind seeing a little pregame skate, NFL kicks off on time, we’re all pawns in Gary Bettman’s game, Doug really disappointed with ESPN website changes, Tim encourages Doug to get on the InsideSTL message board to discuss his lunch, confidential meeting at Kemoll’s with Frank today, Dan Caeser has all the information, NHL admits to starting games later than advertised, Joel Quenville talking about the late time starts, “Angry Adam” calls again, doesn’t like Charlie telling him that he can’t call Doug an ‘idiot’, Doug was right even though Adam disgrees, teases us with arms to chairs, forgot what he got at Walmart, hails from Old Monroe, apparently it’s Big Sky country, cannot figure out where this Old Monroe is located, Willie explains where to find Old Monroe, Charlie has some facts on the small town, Joe Strauss of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch joins the show, no more excuses for the Blues moving forward as Joe wrote this in the paper this morning, would think home atmosphere would create another solid start for home team, team delivering the first ‘punch’ has won each game, there was some discussion with team before Game 4, lack of consistency from both teams from game to game, Devan Dubnyk has not played to reputation this series, seeing more impressive performance from Jake Allen, shifting to the Cardinals, young Michael Wacha taking down some heavy competition early this season, wondering if offense picks up or pitching erodes first (at some point), highly touted #Natitude not looking good, Rams still doing business while the stadium situation hangs over them, enterprise in Carson (CA) gaining a lot of traction, wondering what happens if Rams are forced to stay in STL, possibility of Stan Kroenke not being viable as local owner & support the sponsors.
SEGMENT 2 – Middle names, hope there’s enough time for beauty sleep before games tonight, Kevin Demoff of the St. Louis Rams joins the show, guessing his middle name, ticket sales at the point, expecting better picture by June, trying to sell tickets during very tough PR time, the last interview we had with Kevin last October, reports coming out soon after, breaking down the meaning of the word ‘active’, have always said that we’re going to leave our options open, would’ve been easier to conduct business if arbitration went differently, impressed with STL Stadium Task Force, not sure anyone can answer what will happen at this point, need keep seeing more work from the local task force as well as the development in Los Angeles, absolutely possible Rams will be playing in STL in 2016, always worry about relationship with fans/local interests when going through this process, taking Training Camp to Oxnard (CA) to practice with Cowboys only seems to irritate fans, hypothetical if local task force had begun work 5 years ago, Stan Kroenke working with Dave Peacock and Bob Blitz…, partnership with the STL CVC, complex to answer where the Rams want to play in 2016 based on not knowing all their options, fans considering not buying tickets to protest situation yet powers that be want to see support from fan base, always encourages fans to by tickets, understands the realities of team losing as well as uncertain future with STL, never said anything about preference when it comes to where Rams want to play, relocation guidelines up to NFL Owners, upcoming NFL Draft, mood in the building at Earth City apparently upbeat, Stan Kroenke remaining silent, fans need to hear from organization, fans cheer for players/coaches not executives, always struggles when franchises talk stadium issues, loose comparison to Cardinals, not sure about next update from the league, prepared for this interview like they did in “A Few Good Men”, quick uniform comment, reaction to interview, biggest tell was comment on where Rams prefer to play, Chaps calls to ramble about his theories and then says something weird, everyone around the campfire sharing their thoughts, some sympathy for Demoff’s position, Alpena maybe wanted a few more questions asked, texters thinking that Alpena is challenging Tim, not worth asking certain questions we already know the answers to…, texters already off topic harrassing Doug…, not mad at players for this whole mess, Charlie might challenge Robert Quinn, Alpena wants to challenge again…, more confident that NFL football will be here in 2020, very high level of confidence that new STL stadium will be built, Doug would like to fire some of the staff to save money, interesting ultimatum… & Doug would take money over Plow Boy keeping his job.
SEGMENT 3 – Lots of doings so far this morning, Western Illinois University honoring Joe Roderick, might honor Plow Boy next year, former Blues goalie Brent Johnson joins the show, difference for Blues between Game 3 and Game 4, interesting to Devan Dubnyk pulled mid-game in Game 4, perhaps a poor move made by Mike Yeo, recalling some of his postseason days with the home team, Blues taking the reigns off going after Dubnyk, Hitch has always been defense first coach, the play of Jake Allen so far through this tight series, doings for ‘Johnny’ these days, tough time looking at the camera working with CSN covering the Capitals, Doug calls Brent an old man…, Johnny still on the ice almost everyday coaching youth, best team he ever played for would be 2000-01 Blues, losing to Avalanche in Conference Finals, history of Blues reflecting on mood of fans here, lot of the better teams blocking shots like crazy these days, seeing Shane Ray on Sportscenter, foot issue not needing surgery, Plow Boy belches…, update on Plow Girl coming to studio for #FFF, Plow Boy haircut not having sideburns, doings on the Facebook fan page, someone called someone else’s employer for some reason, Willie reads some of the more recent postings, looking forward to the Cardinals action taking on the last place Brewers, big opportunity for the Redbirds, hope they’re not reading their own press, some apparently scrapbook on the place between trips, JT calls, finally on the air…, not impressed with Chuck’s baseball ability, JT plays for the Bandits, they exchange plays that they made, Charlie tried to steal second but did not make the base, Blue Horseshoe likes…, Charlie saw Chris Moneymaker on flight back to STL, Doug sullying Tim’s marriage vows again… & some kind of tale about a bath house in Vegas.
SEGMENT 4 – “Working for the Weekend”, Bertarelli Cutlery Cuts of the Week, might go see Jim ‘Soupy’ Campbell for Game 5, what Tim wear when jogging & Email of the Day.
