SEGMENT 1 – Show Open: Wondering what a ‘sexagenerian’ is, Dusty Baker out as the Cincinnati Reds’ manager, the Cardinals start the playoffs off with a bang winning 9-1 on Thursday, looking towards Game 2 and the rest of the series with the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Blues make it an even better night for STL winning 4-2, be nice if the ‘Rammies’ could pick it up but they are playing the Jacksonville Jaguars, Producer Joe harasses Willie for Monday’s show, a Boston radio station hangs up on coach Rick Pitino, Mike Lee checks in to boast about his Cardinals’ prediction and tries to get Game 2 tickets out of Doug and some additional thoughts on the Cardinals’ use of pitchers.

SEGMENT 3 – Mitch Williams: Another typical performance according to Mitch, the dominant performance of Adam Wainwright, how he would approach the Cardinals lineup, looking at the rest of the series, the dominance of Los Angeles Dodgers’ pitcher Clayton Kershaw, none of the guys see a sweep happening against the Pirates, looking at Lance Lynn for his Game 2 start on Friday afternoon.
SEGMENT 4 – Joe Strauss: More reaction to the Cardinals’ impressive Game 1 win, the importance of taking the NLDS opener, Redbirds not really giving at-abats away on Thursday afternoon, Joe likes pitcher Lance Lynn in Game 2 on Friday afternoon, the Reds surprisingly letting go of manager Dusty Baker, the Pirates are unlikely to change things moving forward namely the rotation after A.J. Burnett got lit up by the Cards in Game 1 and the rant from Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads following a questionable call in their loss to the Texas Longhorns on Thursday night.
SEGMENT 5 – Tyoka Jackson: Fear of expecting a comptetive Rams game against the Jaguars on Sunday, Sam Bradford not getting the job done, Bradford not able to turn playmakers into weapons, seeing Blaine Gabbert back in STL, wondering if Maurice Jones-Drew can get going against the Rams, the pure disappointing factors on the Rams squad, not having personnel to run the ball even though that is the game plan and wondering why the Rams traded up to draft WR Tavon Austin.
SEGMENT 6 – Picks of the Week & Jamal Mayers: Tim has his locks of the week while Doug has his ‘ear-pinning’ pics, Jamal Mayers now part of the CBS Sports 920 team, the Blues getting off to a hot start last night, chasing Predators goalie Pekka Rinne before 10 minutes into the game and the Blues moving forward.
