SEGMENT 1 – Show Open: Tim doesn’t know how to actually deal with legitimate guests, Tim shows Cat a picture from around the time the show started, Tim isn’t surprised that there has been no maturation in the past 10 years, Cat thinks the author of the article from years past is a lemming, getting right to the point of Cat’s very interesting interview during last nights game, Tim extends an invite to a new resturant for Plowsy and the Plow Girl, Cat didn’t really want to be on the front page of Deadspin, but what happens happens, Bobby calls in to talk some sports on his birthday, Doug sings happy birthday to Bobby before Bobby accuses Doug of being a gay fish, POT HIM DOWN!!!, Cat wonders why Doug would ask follow up questions after being called a gay fish, quick recap of the tense 9th inning of the game, Doug gives his hot takes on the Rookie of the Year conversation, Tony Bank calls in to talk WNBA relocation rumors, Doug was unaware of a WNBA team in Tulsa, Tony asks Doug to go south with him to watch the games, Joe Strauss joins and gives his say about all the compelling journalism going on, Strauss gives his takes on the bullpen and the possible trade market, Joe is fully validated in himself now after Larry Nickel sent out a follow tweet, Tim asks if the struggling Red Sox will be willing to deal Napoli, Joe thinks it’s possible, Joe doesn’t really see the cardinals actually make a deal for a bat, Joe goes full circle on the Cat’s interview, Tim airs his grievances while watching the new Amy Scheumer movie, Doug doesn’t understand Netflix, your guilty television pleasure?, Larry calls in but he’s not talking to Doug, he wants to talk to Cat about his chicken preferences, Larry then tattles on something Doug had said while Cat was out of town, Larry has been suspended a period of 4 days time.
SEGMENT 2 – Intern Matt comes back on to talk about the Turkey Legs, Doug’s Mount Rushmore of sandwhich meats, turkey, bologna, roast beef, and some Braunschweiger, Cat goes with turkey, roast beef, ham, and some corn beef, Cat thinks the show is becoming more anti-semetic by the day, Fred calls in to critisize Dougs choices, POT HIM DOWN!!!, Fred has been suspended a period of 2 days time, Mike Lee has been suspended a period of 2 days time even though he was only a drop, Cat thinks a Doug action figure would be profitable in the area, Terry Donovan’s Shaking Left Hand calls in to talk about Wiffle Ball before asking about movie recommendations, Tom calls in to talk about some more wiffle ball, Doug and Tom lock horns about how you should play your sports growing up, Steve calls in to talk about his trip to Salt N’ Smee, Tim has a story about Salt N’ Smoke, Prod Joe used Tims name to possibly get some special treatment, lots of confusion all around about it, the brisqute brings out the bizarre.
SEGMENT 3 – Doug thinks starting a boy band is very possible, but two geezers and a mutated guy a boy band does not make, The Exit Poll, “Least favorite Cardinal ever?” Doug: Gary Templeton for giving the fans the finger, Cat: Tino Martinez, Tim: Tino also, “Mount Rushmore of European Countries to take a selfie of your recreational?” Doug: Greece France Spain Germany, Cat: France Tim: Scandanavian Countries, “Why are women the only ones that can wear jean shorts?” Doug: guys shouldn’t really show their legs, Cat and Tim: Bring back cut off jeans for men, “Gentleman Lover, Boy Pig, Twink, Militant Gay?” Doug: Gentleman Lover, Tim: Twink, Cat: Boy Pig, “Best Donut in STl?” Cat: Strange Donuts, Tim: Donut Drive In,Doug: Dunkin Donuts, “Most Awkward Interview?” Cat: Tom Seaver, Doug: Earl Weaver, Tim: Lynn Holliday and Waino at spring training.
SEGMENT 4 – Pivoting off of Cat wearing a french maid outfit to Hall Of Famer Tom Glavine, thinks it’s amazing for the big three of the 90’s Braves rotation to make it in with Smoltz now making it in, Tom hesitantly says that Randy Johnson will be the last 300 game winner, but he doesn’t blame the way that pitching has progressed seeing what bullpens have been producing lately, Tom says that the Braves are still trying to figure out what pieces they have to an extent, which could have led to the Heyward trade, Tom says he really enjoys what Shelby Miller brings to the table, Doug asks if the Braves are buyers or sellers at the deadline, Tom says they aren’t really either unless a good selling opprotunity comes along, Tom goes along with what Smoltz said giving high praise to the Mets rotation, Tom recalls the NLCS between the Cards and Braves when the Braves overcame a 3 games to 1 deficit, and his thoughts on the 2006 NLCS between the Cards and the Mets, the guests this week have been top notch, but that might set the bar too high.
