An Apology…And A Message To Any Potential Promo Girls

I’m incredibly sorry and incredibly embarrassed by the performance of over the last few days. I take full responsibility for the problems, as it’s my responsibility to make sure everything is in line before the new site launches, and I failed to do that.

Over the last couple of days, regular visitors may have noticed the new, which I so proudly promoted here and on the radio, “went down.” Our new server failed.

When I contacted ITX, the company that built the new Tuesday to find out what was going on, I was told that they “underscoped” our website.

Now, despite the fact that I own and run a website, I still don’t know what the hell things like “underscoped” mean, so I asked for an explanation. I was told “underscoped” meant our new company didn’t anticipate the kind of traffic would get, and so they put us on a shared server (the “box” that hosts a website…and a shared server meant one “box” was hosting us and others), and they needed to put us on a “dedicated server” (a “box” that is devoted solely to

Anyway, for the two of you that are fascinated by the above, that’s what happened the last couple of days.

Now that that situation is over, we can begin to make some of the changes to the site we wanted to make earlier in the week. But, overall, without question, the feedback has been absurdly positive regarding the new website—with the exception of the message board, which is one of the changes that will take place—and I, too, am quite happy with the new I’m confident in ITX and the quality of work they have and will deliver when this project is complete. They are committed to making sure both the owners and users of are happy when this project is finished, and I believe that will be the case.

Unfortunately, we’ve had more bumps along the way in our transition from 1.0 to 2.0 than I anticipated, and for that, I’m quite sorry. Thank you for continuing to come back to, and I’m pretty damn sure that next week will be a hell of a lot better here than this week.

Moving on…

As continues to grow, we’re going to be doing more and more events. And, the formula to a successful event is, in my opinion, includes having attractive women around.

At this point, we have about 70 ladies that have participated in the Girl Next Door contest. I figured we’d utilize the many beautiful lasses who have partaken in GND as our promo girls at events, but as many of them are either working as waitresses/bartenders or just not able to do it for one reason or another, I wanted to extend the invitation to local ladies who may not necessarily want to participate in the Girl Next Door contest (although you’re welcome to if you’d like) to become Promo Girls. We are now at the point where we’re having at least 2 happy hours per month (and 3 in June) and a Girls Next Door Party every month…so we need a few beautiful local ladies to work those events for us.
