SEGMENT 1 – Show Open: Hello ProdJoe, not wacking day…, last time Joe was present for the presentation, NFL releasing 2015 regular season schedules last evening, no one locally seem to care about the Rams schedule, might see Rams last time in mid-December on Thursday Night Football against Jameis Winston and the Bucs…, captain’s log, big day for STL stadium project task force making presentation to the NFL, Dave Peacock will be doing the talking, Doug would like Stan Kroenke to leave but not the Rams, support our sponsors, disappointing Cardinals loss to open their series with the Nationals, Matt Holliday raking, ball club wasting quality outings from starting pitchers, run production as well as power not there for Redbirds, some of the concerning numbers in the lineup, beginning to wonder if Matt Adams is the guy to play first base most games, Adams looking lost against left-handed pitchers plus numbers against right-handed pitchers not the best, talks about others that could play the position (Randal Grichuk, Stephen Piscotty or Xavier Scruggs), Mark Reynolds does not feel like the answer, Greg calls with comment on Rams President Kevin Demoff, Doug bursts Greg’s bubble with his notion on Rams making money from ticket sales, Jim calls about the stadium situation, comparing STL to recent Minnesota process that eventually got them a new stadium, plenty of smaller city markets in the NFL have fairly stable stadium situations, Demoff as the respresentative for Kroenke, firing back on social media, calling listeners ‘scumbag’…, shifting to the Blues who really did not practice on Tuesday despite alarming Game 3 loss, not uncommon for players to choose rest instead of skating according to Lou Korac of NHL.com, attempt from text line to imply that ProdJoe might be gay, Matt calls yet claims Doug called him, talking about Gus Kyle then suddnely sucked up by a cyclone (sounded like that…), be surprised if we saw repeat performances of Game 1 or Game 3, putting action on games during the games, some hot tips on some soccer, remembering when we raised money for Plow Boy to attend Game 5 between Blues-Blackhawks last year, why we have to label each soccer team as ‘FC’, ProdJoe has not been in touch with Hope Solo since the Athletica left, Hope part of that celebrity leaked photo bunch like J-Law and Upton, Mike Lee calls, spent the day with Jay Jr. on the golf course, people know Mike…, would love to attend Blues game with Plow Boy for Game 5, no tickets from Mike Caruso…, apparently women we know sending pics to Mike, great weight loss for Doug, Alpena with news that Sandy Bullock named the Most Beautiful Woman according to People Magazine at the age of 50, wondering how the magazine makes that choice, ProdJoe does not sense odor from Bullock, Plow Boy recalls conversation with ProdJoe about Courtney Cox having odor, Alpena spoils guessing game, other celebrities with potential odor, MadameNoire.com has list of celebs with questionable hygiene, ProdJoe was curious why he was filling this week instead of Charlie, seeing vacation pics from Chuck, getting out to Las Vegas for the hell of it, Plow Boy has never visited Vegas & deep tease.
SEGMENT 2 – #WeenWednesday, ProdJoe not familiar…, sleeping much better these days, Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch joins the show, huge day for STL making presentation to the NFL, first time Dave Peacock laying out all the plans for the league, members of the league relocation committee (Clark Hunt, Robert Kraft, John Mara, Bob McNair, Jerry Richardson & Art Rooney), Peacock was very pumped about the meeting in talking with JT yesterday, league will want update on financing (largely unknown to the public), Rams making presentation for Inglewood project, could be Kevin Demoff or Stan Kroenke…, just an awkward situation, odd that Rams have nothing to do with the STL project plan, what we know of the other plans happening (Carson, San Diego plus Oakland), do not see how three teams could ultimately relocate to the LA area, current process reminds JT of the mid-90s expansion proect, big city council meeting in Carson, seeing progress from Carson as they attempt to play catch up with Kroenke, no doubt that Chargers owner Dean Spanos has more favoritism as well as sympathy among NFL owners (as opposed to Kroenke), Chargers would still have fans coming to LA from San Diego if they move as Patriots fans travel from Boston area to Foxboro, Rams still without an offensive line, looking forward to the NFL Draft nearly a week away, logic dictates they will take guard or tackle with first pick, Jeff Fisher generally does not like taking WRs early (except Tavon Austin), if fair to consider Rams as contender to win at this point, reports of the Rams taking some training camp to California with the Cowboys, friendship between Kroenke and Jerry Jones, support the sponsors & another deep tease.
SEGMENT 3 – New one from Ween we haven’t heard, “Mango Woman”, Plow Boy generally likes 90s hip-hop when toking, favorite rap songs, hearing from Wayne Gretzky who joined IMM, general thoughts, criticism of the Blues coaching staff, best players need to step up, lot of Steve Ott coverage from Minneapolis/St. Paul press, high praise for Zach Parise, more from “The Great One”, enjoyed his half season here with the Blues in 1995-96, EJ Hradek of NHL Network joins the show, recent history for the Blues in the postseason following impressive regular season peformances, have to do more than find 17 shots…, Blues wanting to be quicker in the neutral zone, has to be clean play when facing team with speed, Wild weakness would be getting under their defense, NHL.com with bracket challenge, EJ had the Blues going all the way to the Conference Finals, team knowing their path in the postseason much different plus tougher than the old format, path for Ducks looks quite reasonable beating the Jets 3-0 as well as possibly getting the Flames next round, thoughts on Blues’ future with current roster plus coaching staff if they do lose series to the Wild, could be time for some kind of change, citing exmaples of other franchises making quick decisions, would be careful about making “monster changes”, shifting to ProdJoe wanting ‘Hotam’ or however you spell his name on the show over the weekend, wondering how drunk ProdJoe got when texting Tim over and over…, curious where Iraqi folks hang in the area, doing with DraftKings, Rick Hummel of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch joins the show, another tough result on the road for Lance Lynn again, numbers for RISP have been good for the most part, considering last night as an outlier, curious about Matt Adams, expecting low numbers all around from batter this season, might be tough to continue to hit Adams in the fourth spot, Jhonny Peralta not killing the ball either, ProdJoe put together fantasy soccer team together on DKs & come play in our wiffle ball tourney.
SEGMENT 4 – “Papa Zit”, not a fan of this Ween song…, ProdJoe’s taste in music, someone named Landry yet not the legendary Cowboys coach, use to be more class back in the day, press wearing the ticket in their fedoras, everyone dressed up at the ballgames, Alpena wondering how many stunk back in the day, ProdJoe uses the pure sport Old Spice deodrorant, some weed talk, fun with audio with girl talking about smoking weed, Willie tells the haters off & Email of the Day.
