SEGMENT 1 – Show Open & Fun With Audio: Doug not okay with the show’s early word usage, Doug showing up late, more news one could use, Lance Lynn getting his first complete game shutout at any professional level, feel that a lot of other ball clubs would be very grateful to have a pitcher like Lynn, have to be able to count on pitchers for every fifth start, it’s all about CG’s, Doug feels that it’s all about the W’s, the big emphasis numbers with pitchers, The Cat gives Doug the finger, not really taking questions, Doug not impressed with the Yankees, timing with Carlos Beltran could not have been better for Redbirds, same with Lance Berkman, Doug has a little time for a question, players back in the day, treats for Charlie’s birthday, pitchers cannot be spoken to much less looked at on their pitching day, the concentration blown out of proporition for certain athletes, not enough use of placards, a reporter had a tough moment with tennis player Nicolas Mahut & a few samples from the wonderful Scoops Callahan.

SEGMENT 2 – Deanna: Doug was trying to nibble, hello Deanna, worst ceremonnial first pitches ever as 50 Cent adds his name to the list yesterday at Citi Field, need to be able to throw, Doug apparently throws rocks at wildlife, we hear the reaction plus the explanation from 50, Deanna’s sales numbers, her thoughts on Tim as a boss, never gone back to listen to a segment, first jobs in the biz, tomorrow is bar olympics, we’ll be playing bags, also known as “corn hole”, Deanna was a small forward in her high school basketball days, Bachelor auditions in St. Louis on June 27th, the son of a snake handler was bitten by a rattle snake and is refusing medical attention & St. Louis’ own Maya Angelou passed away today.

SEGMENT 3 – Dave Matter: Hello to our friend Dave Matter, St. Louis will host the 2018 SEC Basketball Tournament, Scottrade Center will be a great location, not too surprised that the “new kid on the block” gets the opportunity, taking a look at the 2014-15 basketball season, not too much pressure on Kim Anderson in first season, make or break season for Mike Anderson at Arkansas, coach’s son in college basketball, productivity on Mizzou defensive line, Dorial Green-Beckham may sit out 2014 season and prepare for draft & lots of knuckle heads on NFL rosters.
