SEGMENT 2 – Plowsy’s fired for forgetting Ween Wednesday, Tim would probably cash out of the WSOP if he found out there was no Ween played, Charlie describes the appeal of poker and why it’s tough to work with, Charlie’s got a fast food place that never gets his order right, yet he continues to go there, Cat enjoys the customer service at Chik-Fil-A, the text line is split down the middle on best fast food customer service, Plows provides his first hand experience working fast food and his commitment to the job, Cat describes how he would reinforce college bound kids during his youth by gifting them a stolen desk lamp, Doug is accused of hating poor people.
SEGMENT 3 – Charlie retries his impression from the last segment, Doug describes a rich hoosier he saw at the gas station, Rick Hummel joins to talk some baseball, Cat asks whether Lyons or Conney had a better game, Rick thinks Matt Carpenter is losing some of his discipline at the plate, Rick agrees with Charlie that Carp may not reach his 2013 numbers again but some improvement still needs to be made, Heyward has been the most improved on the team and the shining light of the offense, Cat asks if Kolten Wong and his head “injury” is something to be worried about, Rick says if so the All-Star break would save recovery time without losing him in games, SUPPORT THE SPONSORS!!!, the group discusses the close call during the second game of a fair/foul ball hit by Addison Russel, going back to Carp, Charlie thinks batting order doesn’t affect your offensive numbers in a huge way, Cat thinks that Carpenter on base early on is more of a catalyst for the offense, Charlie does a slight 180 on his previous statement when he looks at Carp’s splits in different lineup spots, Charlie mentions how the offense has shown some improvement in recent days, Doug changes up to talk about the out of date tarps after the gusty night at the Pittsburg game, SUPPORT THE SPONSORS!!!
SEGMENT 4 – Doug considers taking this hour off to go draft up the new and improved tarps for MLB stadiums, Jim calls in to talk about his experience at Salt N’ Smoke, Cat recalls the brisket from Salt N’ Smoke much to Dougs dismay, Charlie brings up the story of how Christiano Ranaldo got another break with super attractive women, Charlie’s new dream is to be a comedy writer, Cat thinks there’s an immense amount of pressure though, and by week four Chuck would be over it, Chuck and Cat talk about how much they enjoy working local, followed by a small glimpse of enjoyment for the show, Charlie says the best part away from money is recognition, Doug hates the recognition, can’t get a hold of Ryan Theriot, Doug describes his enjoyment of his job, Theriot calls in, only to be discovered as a ruse, Cat tries to make The SeaMonster feel better about being tricked into the phony Theriot, diving into the origins of a tarp, Dave calls in to ask Doug a question, Doug calls Ichiro a liar, Dave reveals himself as the phony Theriot, Doug is enraged at Charlie complimenting Dave on the ruse, Charlie asks Intern Matt about his recent weight loss and his dream job, the group discusses mulriple job requirements in the minor leagues and a description of some of the unknown jobs in the clubhouse, SUPPORT THE SPONSORS!!!
