SEGMENT 1 – Show Open & Jason La Canfora: Quality presentation, no prepration from Doug once again, World Series kicking off, show meetings, shippin’ it on Draft Day, bath houses in STL, Kyle who looks like Private Pyle from “Full Metal Jacket”, going to the movies, The Cat did not remember Kyle from his internship days at FOX Sports Midwest, Doug generally does not recall 4 FOX interns, the report of Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports conflicts with the comments on Rams COO from his interview on October 10, the Rams have avoided putting themselves out there (Nick Saban to Alabama moment), hello Jason, teams moving to Los Angeles will happen, Rams are a prime target, second team such as Oakland Raiders that are in tough spot will come along, has knowledge that Rams and Raiders are having active discussions even after hearing comments from Demoff from about two weeks ago, no doubt at the highest level of the NFL that the Rams and Raiders would go to LA if they could, no value staying in STL, no type of ‘Save the Rams’ campaign with clock ticking, really only one place to go besides London yet has strong belief that move will invovle the Jacksonville Jaguars, not surprised that the Rams will not say anything about staying or going, two teams will be in LA next year, do not see evidence that one of those teams will not be the Rams, thoughts on the City of St. Louis plus State of Missouri working with the Rams, buck will stop with public funding, don’t see any “Save The Rams” movements really gaining steam, comparison to recent situation with the Minnesota Vikings, aspect of team being horrible for a decade shows there’s really no one fight for the market, expansion in Los Angeles…never heard the “e word” & NFL owners like their pie split in 32 pieces.
SEGMENT 2 – Plenty of reaction to the interview with Jason La Canfora, playing back some of La Canfora’s comments regarding incentive to stay in STL plus reaction the Bryan Burwell’s recent report on local efforts being made & hearing from the text/phone lines.
SEGMENT 3 – Gabe DeArmond: Doug upset after hearing that Mizzou will wear gray jerseys for homecoming, hello Colonel, heading to the World Series, addressing the important issue of the uniforms, true Lorenzo Cain fan, if Royals show up wearing red…, looking back at the Mizzou blowout against Florida, never see anything like that boxscore, offense struggling mostly due to skiddish quarterback not so much injuries that have taken somewhat of a toll, giving 10% chance that Mizzou will win the SEC East Division, not sold that the Tiggers can win out, Vanderbilt not much of a threat for homecoming game & Doug still upset about the Mizzou uniforms.
SEGMENT 4 – Derrick Goold: The wedding of Cal May, hello Derrick, not asking the important questions, general thoughts from the Cardinals season-ending comments with John Mozeliak and Mike Matheny, things do develop between the roster and lineup, looking for ways to bolster the offense, the makeup of the pitching staff moving forward, Kevin Siegrest was missed as much as anyone else during the postseason, wondering about the role of Jaime Garcia moving forward, giving a prediction for the World Series, most disappointing postseason loss for the Cardinals in recent seasons, Doug alledging that Scott Rolen made advances on The Cat & ballroom dancing with Walter Payton.
SEGMENT 5 – WWE Recap: Deep deep song about the Rams leaving, food for media at Rams Park, nice shot at ADelight, clip from Monday Night Raw, hello Larry, perspective on the upcoming Hell in a Cell, tough analysis from Larry, top five countries, hello Mike Lee & tough news learning that Mike Lee’s mother passed away on Monday.
SEGMENT 6 – Email of the Day
