SEGMENT 3 – Quite a show thus far, phone lines all filled up, some kind of motorcycle traffic on 270, Chaps calls, Jason Cole of Bleacher Report joins the show, City of San Diego with proposal, Chargers would like to stay in San Diego, Dean Spanos who has given control to sons wants his franchise to stay in the San Diego area, interesting development with Carmen Policy now the point man for the Carson project, the problems facing the Raiders in Oakland, league does not want STL to become some kind of hand-me-down city, word around league is that they’d like to see Mark Davis sell the Raiders, scenario of Dave Peacock saying that STL keeps the Rams while Kroenke buys the Raiders is actually intellegent, Chargers seems the most likely to move, Rams are the ones that can put the most pressue on the situation, could lay out about 15-20 scenarios based on what we know, most powerful figure still Stan Kroenke yet will not say anything, SUPPORT THE SPONSORS!!!, Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press joins the show, Mike Babcock meeting again with Red Wings today, other teams he has reportedly met with including the Blues, belief that the Buffalo Sabres will throw the most money to try to lure Babcock, wondering ‘Babs’ would even leave the Red Wings, concern from Babcock about replacing the current guard in Detroit, has been chatter about him going to the Maple Leafs for a while, has said to have no interest in a management position while coaching, she likes Babcock winding up with either the Red Wings or Sabres, if he were to have interest in the Blues, expecting decision tomorrow, hearing that Babcock’s family wants to him to stay, Doug’s family wants him to stay at CBS Sports 920, hard to believe anyone would want to stay in Detroit, bringing Victor into the mix always helps, Doug already making music over this prospect, found out that Jeff Abeln will be hosting this Friday, that $100 haircut of his…, wondering who makes the decision, Willie feels slided according to The Cat, list of people not available to host the show, wedding season & wondering when Doug’s sons will start getting married.
