SEGMENT 1 – Show Open: Tim is back from Vegas and his weekend went a whole lot better than the Cardinals, Lance Lynn didn’t seem to happy about having his start pushed back but The Cat explains that Matheny knew what the repercussions could be when the decision was made, what is your level of concern for the Cardinals who have lost 4 of their last 5, playing on Sunday Night made both the Cardinals and Pirates schedule challenging, The Cat believes that the starting rotation’s hiccup is just that and not the sign of a downward trend, Adam Wainwright continues to take steps towards a potential comeback and The Cat is 60% certain he’ll pitch again in 2015, if he does come back it would probably be as a reliever but the team seems intent on him just coming back full bore next season, Post-Dispatch columnist Benjamin Hochman joins the Cardinals discussion and also weighs in on Mizzou’s season opener, how much excitement is there in town for Rams vs. Seahawks this Sunday, Larry Nickel calls in to discuss his weight loss plan.
SEGMENT 2 – What’s the difference between a short rib and a spare rib, Doug delves into the latest happenings on Ray Donovan, Tim recaps his Vegas trip, The Cat complains about not being able to be in A Group when boarding on a commercial flight, the future of the post-game Periscope show is in doubt, Tim reveals that Anna-Marie has a thing for Caller Adam, Doug asks if Tim ever had a teacher growing up that was particularly attractive, Doug is disappointed by John Vaughn’s participation on the Fan Page, Tim is seeing #FreeDotem stickers everywhere.
SEGMENT 3 – TMA needs to have it’s own Cardinal fan song, Post-Dispatch reporter Derrick Goold joins the program to discuss everything going on with the Redbirds, ESPN the Magazine just released a piece which skewers the Patriots over the past 15 years.
SEGMENT 4 – Tim digs into the Outside the Lines story which calls the Patriots dynasty into question and which includes an interesting quote from Mike Martz, the Sea Monster printed the piece out and it was 18 pages, Doug wonders how Martz’s career would have been different had he won Super Bowl 36, Senator Arlen Specter investigated the issue originally and claimed to have been offered a lot of Palm Beach money to look the other way, Doug questions whether this will be the scandal that costs Goodell his job as Commissioner, would the Rams franchice have gone into the tailspin that they’ve experience over the past 10 years had they won Super Bowl XXXVI, would they be in danger of moving to LA … Big Al sure thinks so when he calls in, Ellen the Widow Woman chimes in after a brief absence to discuss the Patriots story and she’s shocked by how egregious the account is, Tim chronicles how the Patriots run began at the same time as their culture of cheating.
