SEGMENT 1 – Show Open & Jim Edmonds: Starting off with Jets QB situation plus those Seahawks, I-70 series collision course, Goldberg Cup, condescending response to not having Wong HR highlight but let’s hear from Mike Matheny on John Lackey, the gritty veteran really on his game for the winner, criticism on Don Mattingly pulling his starter to bring out the suspect relievers, Game 3 home plate umpire Dale Scott had a terrible game, Doug advoctating a new system with some technology, the very intriguing postseason home/away splits for Adam Wainwright especially considering that Shelby Miller is starting Game 4 at Busch Stadium, hello Jim, quite tired from working the late into the evening, Lackey certainly kept things together considering the crazy strike zone, so tough to hit good pitchers with moving zone, the strike zone being monitored with some technology, Clayton Kershaw coming back for Game 4, definitely do not want to go back to Los Angeles, Scott Rolen throwing out the first pitch for Game 4, Doug felt that Dale Scott’s strike zone took him back to the ‘home cooking’ at St. Gabriels, fantasy advice from John Vaughn, kind of a looker like Kay Adams & the exictement/fear of a I-70 series.

SEGMENT 2 – Gabe DeArmond: Oh what a song, cannot find the ‘hot take bell’, hello Colonel, the excitement of the Cardinals-Royals heading down a path of destiny, Saturday setting up to be a huge day for sports in the State of Missouri, the 11a kickoff does not look so bad anymore, Todd Gurley and the Bulldogs coming to town, the sense that the Florida Gators are looming, looking at the game, Gabe hoping Doug can guide them through the ALCS games, KC fans are great but they are not #BFIB, concern about the Giants vs Nationals finishing their series today, trouble getting people to wager on the Seahawks vs Redskins on Monday night, nice John Lackey stat about his career in the postseason, hello Mike Lee, not bullish on Shelby Miller, more phone calls, Willie’s night watching Game 3, people make money texting into this show, update on the ‘hot take bell’, The Cat learning about the ‘station floor pisser’, the comments from Harold Reynolds on his stealing signs/tipping pitches theory, the wonderful Cal May question to Matt Carpenter about him playing like Stan Musial, can hear John Lackey uttering “sick” when hearing the question, greatest day in sports history, need some b-roll, Doug claims theres not b-roll anymore & Joe Roderick found the ‘hot take bell’.

SEGMENT 3 – Derrick Goold: Finally a Cardinals that makes Doug tap his toe, get a whip…, the ninth inning move by the Cardinals to clean up the pitchers mound, lot of people (the Dodgers) complaining about the strike zone from umpire Dale Scott, the read on Game 4 is that Derrick has not made travel plans for a potential Game 5 in Los Angeles, too many factors working against Clayton Kershaw, discussion of instant replay plus the potential of implementing more technology within the game, Derrick more of an advocate to let human element decide balls and strikes, looking at the Nationals-Giants series, have to go back to the wonderful postgame audio from Game 3, hello Larry, big weekend attending the Walk Now for Autism Speaks (http://bit.ly/1mpY0eP) at Forest Park & always time for the Top Five Countries.
