SEGMENT 1 – Show Open & Jim Edmonds: Starting off with Jets QB situation plus those Seahawks, I-70 series collision course, Goldberg Cup, condescending response to not having Wong HR highlight but let’s hear from Mike Matheny on John Lackey, the gritty veteran really on his game for the winner, criticism on Don Mattingly pulling his starter to bring out the suspect relievers, Game 3 home plate umpire Dale Scott had a terrible game, Doug advoctating a new system with some technology, the very intriguing postseason home/away splits for Adam Wainwright especially considering that Shelby Miller is starting Game 4 at Busch Stadium, hello Jim, quite tired from working the late into the evening, Lackey certainly kept things together considering the crazy strike zone, so tough to hit good pitchers with moving zone, the strike zone being monitored with some technology, Clayton Kershaw coming back for Game 4, definitely do not want to go back to Los Angeles, Scott Rolen throwing out the first pitch for Game 4, Doug felt that Dale Scott’s strike zone took him back to the ‘home cooking’ at St. Gabriels, fantasy advice from John Vaughn, kind of a looker like Kay Adams & the exictement/fear of a I-70 series.
