SEGMENT 1 – Show Open: Hello again, captain’s log, John Mozeliak speaking, hell breaking loose between San Diego and Chargers, Doug okay with our lineup this morning, giving out some kind of prize today, Doug went to the circus, planning out trips, Tim plus Willie attending Mizzou game at Georgia, might take the train, need that bullet train to Chicago, taking the train to the Windy City, big time delays, suggestion to wear ‘boner pants’ to the University of Georgia, Doug thinks everywhere besides Rochester (Minn.) is dangerous, the dangers lurking all around the Miami area, favorite flavors of Mountain Dew, Plow Boy with a nasty story about his friends doing something to the beverages at some Taco Bell location back in the day, Doug would like Plowsie to save some money instead of splurging, Charlie’s lady apparently can help him with some financial advising, suspension earned…, big news out of San Diego according to Sam Farmer of the LA Times (http://goo.gl/Gv6k4a), fear that Chargers owner Dean Spanos would team up with Stan Kroenke is the latest theory that could happen…, discourse between San Diego groups has never really been good with the Chargers, apparently officials would just play on their iPads during the meetings, what we know about the Carson project, Chargers-Raiders hiring Carmen Policy to lead their development, SUPPORT THE SPONSORS!!!, “nipple rings”…, using the Periscope app, suspension earned…, selfie sticks, Doug enjoys the stick, lemmings…, big DraftKings golf tourney, that one tree at Chambers Bay, might see the gallery smoking some marijuana at the US Open, Plow Boy would love to do pot at The Masters, Doug not a fan of drugs or pot, get on that daily fantasy league, Willie putting the guys on Periscope, the stories about ProdJoe with Andy Dick, that other story about ProdJoe bleeding on the backside, being woken up by Andy Dick jumping on a bed, that time ProdJoe sent Tim a love letter, wondering if ProdJoe really meant to send that to Tim…, Tim and ProdJoe still close, something about lady boys, ProdJoe trying to call, “(Angry) Adam” calls…more about the float trip…eh, got drop out of that, ProdJoe calls…”couple of things”…Joe has asthma…taking some Benadryl and waking to see Andy Dick jumping on a bed in his room…no man on man love…Joe did not confirm things with his buddy the next for some reason…thinks his friend met Andy Dick in the hallway…and about his backside bleeding at Spring Training…claims to have fallen off the bench at the gym that morning…and about the love letter mistakenly sent to Tim…satisfied with explanations.
SEGMENT 2 – Alanis Morissette brings us back, dump that one too…, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch joins the show, latest on the hacking story, talking with John Mozeliak before yesterday’s game, expected next steps, scouting/analytics departments not that large, initial reacton to New York Times story did not look good whatsoever yet the owner (Bill DeWitt) plus GM (Mo) have taken to the offensive in the past day, statememts made by the Cardinals’ statements, frustration of not being able to answer everything yet, management got out in front after the embarrassing situation, about the amount of people working in the departments in which the hacking could have took place, Mo generally has tight circle around him to help make decisions, Doug wondering why rogue employee(s) have not been fired, have to follow the legal process, Jeff Luhnow claiming that password not being changed wasn’t the issue which could mean real trouble, Greg calls…noticing that the Cardinals did post jobs a few months ago, would think the Cardinals have to know the culprit(s), wondering if individual(s) has already resigned, hacking not looking so simple anymore, could have been very sophisticated process, going after Luhnow for whatever reason, Cardinals certainly had programs that help put them ahead of competing franchises & we’ll have to eventually find out the person(s) responsible for the illegal actions.
SEGMENT 3 – The theme from “Midnight Cowboy”, wearing baggy shorts when working out, Charlie prefer to have something more snug to keep everything in place, Doug suggests boxer briefs, Kaylee Hartung mentioning no-hitter to TCU coach in the middle of the game, Vanderbilt broke up no-no with HR moments later & people blaming poor perky Kaylee…
SEGMENT 4 – “Like a Rhinstone Cowboy”…, SUPPORT THE SPONSORS!!!, David Barron of the Houston Chronicle joins the show, Jeff Luhnow claiming that passwords to ‘Ground Control’ were changed, theory of exit node being setup on servers undetected, really becoming more sophisticated that originally thought, Astros have been quiet for the most part until Luhnow spoke with Sports Illustrated (http://www.si.com/mlb/2015/06/18/jeff-luhnow-cardinals-astros-hacking-scandal), they did thank Cardinals for taking matter seriously, fans do not seem too mad about the situation but there has to be some fans irate, quite remarkable the work that Luhnow has done to quickly turn things around for the Astros, troubles with TV network, numbers weigh up from past season in which they were 0.0, other doings with the Astros still holding onto their first-place position in the AL West, loved that Dickie Thon back in his day, wondering about the shortstop of the Astors during the successful times in the NL Central, those “Killer B’s”…, hill person on the text line accusing STL media of missing the story on Cardinals hacking Astros, not enough FBI sources…, Doug at home eating snacks while the real the media does that work…, Darren Smith of The Mighty 1090 AM in San Diego joins the show, the San Diego side of the table walking away from the Chargers trying to negotiate a new stadium deal, yesterday seem to be the first time the Chargers finally said how they feel, Mayor Kevin Faulconer trying to spin situation, does not matter what city or fans think if the Chargers are not on board, franchise thinks the proposal is “dumb idea” (their words, not his…), believes the Chargers have gotten the Rams attention, maybe Stan Kroenke thinks Dean Spanos is a putz…, theory that Spanos doesn’t want his Chargers to be the Jets to the Giants if they move to Inglewood with the Rams, not sure that Spanos needs to be the ‘alpha’ yet does not want franchise to be second class citizen, wondering if Chargers have any legal obligation to the Raiders with Carson project, seems to appetite for Raiders football in LA but not desire…, feeling in San Diego seems to mirror St. Louis outlook on their current NFL franchise being in their respective towns for the 2016 season, Darren curious about us following the story here, differences between Mark Fabiani and Kevin Demoff (reps for the Chargers and Rams), Fabiani the most outspoken of all the groups involved, theory on why Kroenke never speaks, SUPPORT THE SPONSORS!!!, interesting report from Buster Olney of ESPN (http://goo.gl/pQjaS1) & SUPPORT MORE OF THE SPONSORS!!!
