SEGMENT 1 – Show Open: Doug cannot get the paint off his hands, an American Dream tale involving the Cardinals, Willie tells Joe Roderick to stay away with Friendly’s fried chicken coming today, Blues now in second place in conference, losing it when things go wrong a professional style of some, self-imposed nicknames, producers at the station sideways with each other, getting political on the text lines, fan of the show from Iowa came to town for a Grassi’s meatball sandwich, Iowa knows how to party, Hall of Famer Dave calls in with some knowledge, Willie outs a texter, Lance Lynn wanted to come on the program, the passing of The Ultimate Warrior & Darren’s farming day of bailing hay.
SEGMENT 2 – Gabe DeArmond & Reed Low: Not sure where to begin with all the Mizzou news (good, bad & odd), that whole Earnest Ross-Zach Price situation still coming together, no real DGB updates, coach Gary Pinkel a tad more candid than usual, a big get for the Mizzou football program getting in-state QB Drew Lock to sign, Tigers getting big star recruits, always have had success getting average rated players to turn into key players that sometimes reach the NFL, serious computer issues, bringing on Reed, going to have to adjust and produce offense without key goal scorers, do not count on Vladimir Tarasenko for the first round of the playoffs, do not want to end up with tough seeding, talking about the proverbial ‘switch’ when entering the postseason, want to enter playoffs hitting stride and not the opposite, a disturbing persona of The Cat from a FOX Sports cohort, podcast issue fixed, the character is spelled Fievel and not Fifel, favorite Charles Dickens novel & Willie is peeling a Mandarin.
SEGMENT 3 – Fun with Audio: Get Doug a scooter to help him get around, a story from Gary Player about Arnold Palmer possibly pooping on a golf course, newscasters getting Mickey Rooney confused with Andy Rooney, other well-known Rooney’s, Denny from Friendly’s drops by the studio with that fried chicken, arranging a scrap with Willie and Joe Rod, Doug may train Willie, looking forward to those BarLympics & a caller weighs in about the Cardinals and Blues essentially giving crazy Rich some credence.
SEGMENT 4 – Email of the Day
