In total De Smet had 14 athletes sign letters of intent to play college sports.
Keenan Agnew, son of former St. Louis Ram and Super Bowl champion Ray Agnew, said it’s like a dream come true.
“I’ve been dreaming about it since I was seven years old. I’ve seen both of my brothers do it and I wanted to be just like them,” Agnew said.
Agnew’s brothers Malcolm and Ray both played college football for the Salukis as well.
Offensive tackle John Ames said he couldn’t be happier about his decision to commit to Illinois State, the first school to recruit him.
