SEGMENT 1 – Show Open: Something wrong with our daily fantasy league, devastating news about Rams QB Sam Bradford more than likely being out for the whole upcoming season, now Shaun Hill stepping in, wondering how much better Bradford was playing than Hill, looking at what the Rams did or not did to prepare this potential situation, looking back at the famous/infamous RG3 draft pick trade with the Washington Redskins, understandable to question organization on not taking another QB in the draft for instance especially if there was a sense that Bradford was not their long-term guy, plenty of reaction through the text line, ProdJoe had some interesting tweets going back to Saturday night, just a thrilling phone call, the best backup QBs out there, wondering Shaun Hill ever worked at a supermarket, comparing this team to 1999 (Kurt Warner = Shaun Hill, Marshall Faulk = Zac Stacy, Isaac Bruce = Kenny Britt, etc.) people want to be optimistic about their team, plenty of other injuries (Michael Brockers, Jake Long, Rodger Saffold, Trumaine Johnson, Kendall Langford) on the team now, sticking by ridiculous predictions & Vegas perspective on the Rams situation.
SEGMENT 2 – Jim Thomas: Shhhh, quiet Doug…, seeing some Sam numbers on TV that aren’t good, hello to Jim, the most snakebit athletes in STL sports history, wondering if Bradford played his final game in the blue and gold, the contract situation moving forward with the former top overall pick, tough for Jeff Fisher and Les Snead who essentially have to start over again, belief that the Rams have to bring another veteran onto the roster, may have to go trade route but not sure how much leverage that the Rams actually have, Shaun Hill can play well but wondering if he can do that over a long period of time since he’s only taken so many snaps in the past few seasons, looking at the other injuries (Trumaine, Brockers, etc.) the development of Greg Robinson, seeing Michael Sam making a statement that he’s now worthy to make the roster, NFL Films still using b-roll, too much silver, Burl Ives no longer with us & not sure if Austin Pettis will make the team but he’s a good follow on Twitter.
SEGMENT 3 – Joe Strauss: “I Swear”…, Mrs McKernan with some tough words for that “Bachelor in Paradise”, hello to Joe, his perspective of Rams losing Bradford and moving forward with Hill, team will be more ‘ground n’ pound’ more than ever, the potential with Hill, though Rams say they have not looked outside the organization yet does not mean that they will sooner or later, the legacy for Bradford in St. Louis, not taking a quarterback higher in the draft when there was opportunity, skeptical if Austin Davis can develop into the starter, situation overall has become so unclear in the last 24 hours, shifting to the Cardinals who had a rough tough weekend in Philly, old watching the incosistency, Justin Masterson has not shown much in the handful of starts he’s had, getting back to the Rams concerns, developing situation with Greg Robinson who’s head was apparently ‘spinning’ due to switching back from tackle to guard and vice-versa & looks like Rams took a project with the second overall draft pick due to Robinson’s lack of pass block skills.
SEGMENT 4 – Fun With Audio: Plow Boy nailing it with the music to start off the week, ready for SEC football this week, Doug not okay with Southeastern dialects, the uniform that Mizzou cannot wear anymore, Doug still not okay with the different types of uniforms, don’t know much about the current SEC teams, time to hand out some suspensions, that Kay Adams is becoming a real star, dad destoys his son’s video games with a lawn mower, Doug helping his boy move into Mizzou, fraternity house mother mistakened Doug for John Lithgow, it’s a Mizzou Beta thing…, the ridiculous education in Doug’s day, hitting kids with switches, Doug wants to be spanked, being tight and rewarding at the Jason Aldean concert, Doug saw intercourse in a parking lot & public places where a couple can get their coitus on during the day.
SEGMENT 5 – Email of the Day
