SEGMENT 1 – Show Open: Oh hey it’s Jennings filling in for The Cat today, Doug was up late doing journalism and doesn’t expect to be much good to us today, Tim was hanging with Janie the Lesbian and her new friend at The Wheelhouse on Friday and then ran into Timberfake who bowed down to our local broadcast hero, Doug also saw Timberfake on Friday but he didn’t spot because he was busy doing work for KMOV, Tim loves using the pony emoji on twitter, Doug thinks the Game 2 loss might be his fault because he didn’t hold a picture of the Cubs goat, Jaime’s throw into the outfield was a tip of the cap to the 2006 Detroit Tigers, Tim thinks the Cardinals beat themselves on Saturday more so than the Cubs won, this is just the latest in a long line of meltdowns by Jaime, Tim believes this could impact Garcia’s future in St. Louis beyond this season and could improve the chances of Lackey returning because Mozeliak is like Don Corleone and never forgets, Tim also likens Jaime to a poker player who goes on tilt after a bad beat, Reynolds hit a HR in batting practice yesterday that crossed the street and broke an apartment window, Doug has faith that the Cardinals will score at least one run today, Lynn is still slated to start Game 4 but realistically that’s up in the air depending on Game 3’s outcome, Jack calls in to discuss the weekend but is cut off quickly, John is up next on The Appliance Discounters phone lines to discuss his experience at Game 2 in Busch Stadium, Jim follows next and claims that Jaime’s illness was just an excuse, “The Colonel” Gabe DeArmond of PowerMizzou.com checks in to discuss the Tigers loss to Florida on Saturday night courtesy of The Wheelhouse.
SEGMENT 2 – Doug isn’t happy that KMOV news has been pushed back now that 60 Minutes starts at 6:30 every Sunday but he still disagrees that local TV is a dead medium, Post-Dispatch Rams reporter Jim Thomas joins from Green Bay to discuss the team’s loss to the Packers, Fuelsie is on the phone lines next to talk sports and hardwood floors, “Emily Rask” has popped back up on the Fan Page and Tim doesn’t believe it’s actually an attractive young blonde girl, Zach calls in to say that the Cubs are going to sweep the rest of the series, Tim sees similarities between Arrieta and Zach Greinke, Doug frowns upon trends in baseball, Big Al checks in to apologize for his suspension last week and critique Doug’s work on KMOV, Hall of Fame reporter Rick Hummel joins from Chicago to preview Game 3 of the Cardinals vs. Cubs, Doug claims to outlift Steve Savard, Mike Lee chimes in about his trip to the Blues game and his ongoing love affairs, Caller Adam is next with a complaint on reporters talking about batting practice HR’s, Doug will be reporting to the KMOV nerve center to do journalism again tonight, the auxiliary press box is probably out in the outfield at Wrigley, Chris calls in to ask Doug a question about soccer, a lemming on the text line wants to buy Tim’s old mattress.
SEGMENT 3 – Hall of Famer and former Cubs 2B Ryne Sandberg will be at Wrigley Field for Game 3 and joins us to preview the contest, Tim says stat boy Brian Hoffman is the best follow on twitter next to August Ames, Jennings and Tim expect a lot of lesbianism to be going on at Wrigley Field, Jim calls in to talk about lesbiansim, Leon phones in to follow up on August Ames and babes at Wrigleyville, Doug brought it back in the day at Tim’s bachelor party, #AudioFun with a Mets fan who called into Mike Francesca’s radio show and cried, Jennings supports the #FreeDotem movement.
