SEGMENT 5 – Joe Strauss: Excellent job by Joe writing a column on Sunday night remembering Oscar Taveras, Joe joins the show, remembering his character when interacting with him through the season, fully confident he would evolve into everyday impact Major League player, looking forward to seeing his off-season work going into Spring Training, definitely saw improvement from Oscar during the postseason, envisioning him in the future, could have been line drive 3-5 hitter in a lineup, certainly had to become more well-rounded player, memories of 2002 with Darryl Kile plus 2007 with Josh Hancock and the impacts those tragedies had on the respective ball clubs, another good piece from Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports giving perspective of reacting to tragic news while covering the World Series, horribly sad coincidence & cannot be inaccurate on this kind of story.

SEGMENT 6 – Jim Thomas: Deciding to shift gears for a bit from tragic news about Oscar Taveras, Jim joins the show, offense could only produce 65 yards between opening drive and their last, comparing Sunday’s performance to other games, hope that the team got pass these lulls in which they do not show up to play, tough news on Jake Long maybe tearing ACL, wondering where the progress has been, wondering if someone (on staff) will be held accountable, more reports from Jason La Canfora about Rams to Los Angeles, perhaps some ‘click bait’ or someone is not being honest, stadium project that Bryan Burwell has reported on is real, stunned if the Rams sent notice to the league that they were moving on (or before) February 2015, not many things to spotlight on the Rams roster, long strange confusion with offensive line going back to drafting Sam Bradford, really enjoy the work from Johnny Hekker, just do not get it with how the Rams operate such as using Tre Mason, could see the Rams making a move with trade deadline tomorrow, could use very tall wide receiver, Doug’s visit to Columbia seeing Mizzou vs Vanderbilt, no way Tigers beat any other team in the SEC the way they played on Saturday & at least the Blues beat the Blackhawks.
