SEGMENT 1 – Show Open: After some preliminary NBA talk the boys – led by Chuck Marlow – dig into another miserable loss by the Rams, The Cat was appalled that Case Keenum was left in the game despite a seemingly obvious concussion, this was one of the most boring games in NFL history and there were penalties galore, how many times have media done the same interviews with guys like Laurinaitis who’s experienced so much losing, Chuck with some “in depth” analysis, Doug is disappointed in Keenum’s arm strength, Doug also doesn’t like how easy the Pass Interference flags fly in the league now, does Plowsy owe Eddie Lacy an apology, this game was gift-wrapped for the Rams according to Jim Hayes but they just wouldn’t accept it, how was Chris Givens the victim of a numbers game with all the talented WR’s in the Rams stable, would an Aaron Donald for Aaron Rodgers trade be fair, do the Rams brass have a lack of urgency because of the Los Angeles caveat or is their decision making just poor anyways, Post-Dispatch reporter Jim Thomas joins from Baltimore to break down yet another bitter loss for the Rams, there’s not hot seat here for Fisher and Snead, Doug thinks some media gives Fisher a pass because he’s so likeable, Charlie points out that Coach Fisher has never had a bottom out / 3 win type season either here or in Tennessee, “Stan Kroenke” calls into the presentation to suggest that all the Rams QB’s have Tourette’s.
SEGMENT 2 – St. Louis native Ezekiel Elliott made some controversial post-game remarks after Ohio State’s loss this weekend, for perspective we check in with College Football analyst and 2002 Buckeye National champion Dustin Fox, Doug was impressed by Michigan State fans usage of The Windmill this weekend, The Cat doesn’t find Elliott’s comments to be disruptive but Doug points out that it’s rare to see a coach like Urban Meyer get challenged, Doug describes when an assistant coach should load the box, the Buckeyes loss does make the College Football playoff a lot more interesting, Doug got bored at the Mizzou game and was looking at old pictures, Plow Boy missed much of the Rams game because he was watching “Hook” starring Dustin Hoffman, the #HotTake hotline was in full effect as Plowsy petitioned for Terry Bradshaw to retire, Doug loves Bradshaw, when is Charlie going to shave his face? Breaking down what the boys eat in the press box, the Cat is too good to eat leftovers, Charlie is mad that he has to do everything on the show while Doug and Cat don’t do anything, Charlie now feels bad for making fun of Lydia Moss Bradley, Chapps calls in with some hot takes on the Rams, does Kroenke even care if the Rams win any games?
SEGMENT 3 – PowerMizzou.com publisher Gabe DeArmond joins the program to talk Mizzou football, why is Lock not progressing at Quarterback like he should be? Gabe says this receiving core is dreadful, Pinkel did not seem to enjoy being carried off the field after a loss, did the weather keep people away from showing up to game or was it that Mizzou is just that bad of a team? This next hire after Pinkel is huge for the Mizzou football program, does Mizzou have a shot at a top tier coach? Would Mizzou pay Tom Herman $4 million a year to coach their team? Will Les Miles survive at LSU and would he be interested in Mizzou job? What should be the stations next holiday themed shirt? The Boys are frustrated that the callers hang up instead of waiting on hold, someone calls in as Case Keenum and gives hot takes on the game that was yesterday, Charlie wants to hold Jeff Fisher and the coaching staff accountable for the loss this Sunday, breaking down all the sky pigs they have seen in their time flying, Charlie getting sideways with the texters.
