SEGMENT 1 – Show Open & TJ Moe: Deal with the plan, not excited for basketball yet, issues with the Cavs, heavy on the Steelers vs Jets, problems with fantasy football, Kevin Demoff going to Sacramento Kings game last straw for Rams moving to Los Angeles, could be scouting tall players for wide receiver, interesting things happening in the State of California including Ingelwood, those Rams have to learn to play four quarters, some of the better quarterbacks in the league not usually on their backs, need a better mic for Jeff Fisher, another major shift in college football landscape, hello TJ, could not believe how Texas A&M took down Auburn, expect to see Kyle Allen over Kenny Hill when Mizzou visits College Station this weekend, about time ‘War Eagle’ got some bad bounces going back to last season, the other shakeups for the college football playoff outlook, players need to quit dropping the ball before crossing the goal line, Doug anticipates Mizzou beating Alabama in the SEC Championship, that tricky Big 12 situation with TCU and Baylor both looking darn good yet no conference championship, could be awkward situation for committee, not bullish on Mississippi State (#1) or Florida State (#2) in the upcoming weekend, belief that CFB playoff will eventually expand to eight teams, Doug upset with uniforms worn by Arizona State, bold breakdowns from the text line, Doug struggling with percentages on who will win SEC East Division, not a high opinion of Auburn because of one game yet okay with Kansas after a hundred years of rivalry & the NFL jerseys that we own.
SEGMENT 2 – Jim Thomas: Think we heard Billy Gilman in the Rams locker room following the loss to the Cardinals, interesting things that have been transpiring since election day (http://goo.gl/vhsrLK), story about Mayor James Butts per Inglewood Today that originally quoted as saying he would be meeting with the Rams owner, natural chain of reaction to news getting to national writers, then line about meeting Rams owner deleted from Inglewood Today story, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports caught up with Butts via email, lots of facts yet no clear answers on what exactly what happened over the weekend, some theories about what transpired, Inglewood Today does not appear to be independently owned but a service from the local government, thinking Butts got caught up in the moment, be shocked if Rams had not spoken to anyone in the Los Angeles area yet the oddity is the cover-up, hello JT, sounds like Kroenke met with Butts, the Rams owner doesn’t particularly like most things being made public, certainly keeping options open, even the politician have no problem discussing Rams issue, not talking about the operations of The Pentagon here, some tells that make us wonder about Kroenke’s lack of enthusiasm to keep the Rams in STL, ebbs and flows with fans attitudes towards team staying or going, 50-50 at this point if they stay or go, wondering about franchises in California (Chargers or Raiders) that could move, looking at the Rams 31-14 loss to the Cardinals, bring up issue of Shaun Hill, made contact with Kevin Demoff, sign of the times at Inglewood Today, difference between how Raiders and Rams have handled their respective situations, reaction from the text line, wondering who will show up to press conference when Rams announce their departure, when the Big Red left STL years ago, the Cal May question always makes us feel better, carbon monoxide alarm going off inside the station, wonderful drops from Doug, update on Plow Boy moving into his place, cold shower issue but plan to call hot water, Doug wants Plow Boy to handle the situation himself, The Cat and Willie advise against this, response from Demoff on unique situation over the weekend, poll InsideSTL asking who the starting QB will be for the Rams in 2015, votes say 2015 draft pick followed by Sam Bradford and then Austin Davis, once fell in love with Davis & don’t hear enough drops with Tim’s voice.
SEGMENT 3 – Sunday night doings, Bears vs Packers game sucked, interesting weekend putting some coin on some games, have to speak like a sharp to understand the gambling language, big push off in 49ers win over the Saints, showing up at a high school event, reaction on Twitter that Jim Thomas is attempting to gain more followers with his comment, working sources to break a story, list of famous people named ‘Doug’, not too thrilled with the list, shame to find out Doug Henning is no longer with us, .
SEGMENT 4 – Joe Strauss: P’s T’s & A’s, limited on vacation time, Doug has nickname of ‘floorboard’ at 4 FOX, apparently it’s perpetual vacation time for The Cat, hello Joe, still in Arizona, read that Rams did not want story coming out about meeting happening with Inglewood government, not shocking to learn that franchise is pursuing options, expectation in February that Rams will file application to move, into two month window in which something has to happened, belief that city-state are playing catch up, how is proposal going to be perceived by the league might be the end game in negotiations, owners would seemingly change by-laws to get team to Los Angeles, other franchises that have interest in moving, very difficult to project local timeline, assuming the league would make every effort to avoid lame duck season, loss to the Cardinals was right there for the Rams, just another collapse, looking forward to next week of SEC games, thinking that Goergia will be back on top of SEC East Divsion, do not see much changing to keep the Rams here, learning that Rams (through confirmation of Kevin Demoff) have not met with State appointed task force (Dave Peacock and Bob Blitz) at this time & wondering when cheerleaders will start wearing Santa outfits.
SEGMENT 5 – Email of the Day
