SEGMENT 1 – Show Open: The Cardinals won their 19th NL Pennant on Friday night trouncing the Los Angeles Dodgers 9-0 to win the series 4-2, Matt Carpenter 11-pitch at-bat that eventually was a double and the beginning of the Redbird’s onslaught, looking forward to the World Series with the Boston Red Sox, the Rams losing 30-15 to the Carolina Panthers plus losing QB Sam Bradford for the season after an ACL tear, the behavior of the Rams in their loss to the Panthers, the surprising 7-0 Missouri Tigers jump up to #5 in the BCS Standings after beating up the Florida Gators 36-17.

SEGMENT 2 -Joe Strauss: Looking towards the World Series, the potential pitching rotation for the Cardinals, Joe likes the Redbirds in the series, thoughts on the Rams especially losing Sam Bradford, the reports that the Rams wanted to re-sign Bradford sooner or later and the Missouri Tigers being the beneficiaries of SEC circumstance.
