Torrence Watson claimed our first ever High School Athlete of the Week award with a strong performance in week one.
Watson put up 45 points against Westminster Christian Academy and is averaged 25 points per game to start the season. He finished the season averaging an area-best 29 points per game and was named to the All-Metr second team.
In week two Natalie Schroeder took home the honors with a strong performance for Duchesne.
Schroeder loaded the stat sheet with 49 points and 35 boards over the span of three games.
The 5’11” center finished the year ranked eighteenth in the area in blocked shots among St. Louis area high school teams.
She was also dominate at the charity stripe averaging over 70 percent on the season.
