Hockey Hall-of-Famer and former Blues goaltender Grant Fuhr joined The Press Box on Friday to discuss his playing career and the current “awesome” play of Jake Allen.

On Jake Allen’s play so far this playoffs:

“Jake’s been awesome. That’s the fun of the playoffs. You watch different guys stand up and play well. Jake had his struggles this year and he’s playing well when it matters.”

Who did you look up to as a goaltender when you were young?

“I was a big fan of Glenn Hall and Tony Esposito. Those were two pretty good guys to follow.”
