SEGMENT 1 – Show Open: Hello again Chuck, guaranteeing a sweep this weekend, can always not bring it up or deny said guarantees if there is no Cardinals sweep, Doug trying to pull shady moves by almost pulling off a trade on Charlie’s iPad, whole InsideSTL league is a mess (commissioner Joe Roderick)…, STL media probably leads the league in fights, the slow progress of microphone technology, Cardinals with another big win as the defense especially in the outfield came up big, Michael Wacha not too shabby in his first start back, Trevor Rosenthal getting another adventurous save, the Plow Boy’s screening progress, letter to the Post-Dispatch editor about the sizzling sexy Hardee’s commericals that airs during the Cardinals games, wondering about those “straight camps”, the other Hardee’s commercial with the poker player, this guy who wrote the letter to the editor may have been having fun with sending in the letter about the burger girls, learning more about manhood, Scott Rupp, realizing when we liked girls, Scott Rupp went to Mizzou, South City class warfare amongst the parrishes, now some religious warfare on the text line, obvious which parrish in South City is the best & Doug not liking the Catholic religion because he was chastised for attempting to paritcipate in the Eucharist.
SEGMENT 2 – Jim Thomas: Media laughing at awkward jokes from coaches or players, hello Jim, tough for Sam Bradford addressing media yesterday, Charlie apparently tried to make Bradford cry, actually feel bad for the QB considering how things probably ended for him with the Rams, obviously disappointing that the second overall pick in the draft Greg Robinson is not a starter via the depth chart, if we think Shaun Hill is ready to lead the offense, not a particularly great Minnesota Vikings defense based on their depth chart names, predicting the season & big decisions made that could have some effect on the current regime.
SEGMENT 3 – Jenifer Langosch: Almost time for local hoosiers to make more Cardinals songs as the postseason approaches, hello Jen, big big play by Peter Bourjos on a ball that everyone thought was gone, Mike Matheny playing the hot hand, Jon Jay looks to be about 50 at-bats short of being eligible to be in the running for the NL batting title, the mood and focus of Milwaukee has turned towards the Green Bay Packers, sense that Brewers fans saw this coming, signs that the Cardinals were going to take off when they did over the past couple of weeks, Mike Matheny making all the right decisions lately, living and dying with Trevor Rosenthal who leads the league in saves, keeping the faith with Rosie, some doubt with the closer too, Plow Boy was tricked good by a caller, then a terrible call from a pervert about the Cardinals who likes Charlie on the “Prep Zone”, winning despite some of the lineups not looking that great for the Birds, best and worst bathrooms to use whilst at a bar, Tony Dow (or Dowe) regails the show with a “Leave It To Beaver” story & RFT did nominate the best public restrooms.
SEGMENT 4 – Dave Matter, Picks of the Week, Ask Lawrence & Cuts of the Week: Charlie use to live by the Toledo stadium, hello Dave, thinking Mizzou will win this game but would not be stunned if the school from Ohio knocked them off, breaking down the Rockets who returned most of their roster, mild concerns about the Tiggers’ defense compared to the offense, belief that ‘Gers will rely on the running game but will certainly have to pass, Maty Mauk will do something great one moment but then will pull a head-scratching move the next moment, we breakdown the picks, another stirring edition of Lawrence, we reflect on the week that was & Doug wondering if he can still get an accounting degree.
SEGMENT 5 – Email of the Day
