SEGMENT 1 – Show Open & Jim Thomas: Doug wasn’t sure if he would make it today, how ’bout them Aggies taking down the Gamecocks with authority on the road, imagine interviews with football guests will be brief, story is obviously Yadier Molina making his return to the Cardinals, taking care of our lawns, The Cat calls a neighborhood kid plus does not own a lawn mower, Doug not happy his sons will not pick up the yard work duties, pushing the start of school time back later in the morning, giving passionate takes based on consultant advice, hello to Jim who’s still in Florida, have to keep Ethan Westbrooks, trying to figure out a way to keep both Westbrooks and Michael Sam, wondering if someone else will pick up Sam if he does not go to practice squad, not much went on with that fourth preseason game between the Rams and Miami Dolphins, if Austin Davis has performed well enough to be the permanent backup QB, still think Rams will look elsewhere for someone with more experience, might keep Garrett Gilbert too, the lack of crowds around the NFL during these final preseason games, like when we have a guest at airport, that Joe Strauss column in the paper this morning about the Cardinals have the opportunity to do well down the stretch, Doug would still like to add a bat, looking at the rest of the NL, never said keep an eye on the Mets, Doug likes that Lucas Duda…, Deke Dotem offered Doug a bribe to tank in the InsideSTL fantasy baseball league…stop the presses…, there’s a honor code, looking to Doug for parenting advice, should be a pledge for fantasy, if Doug were a lawyer…, some fun with audio as Mizzou’s (and ESPN’s) John Anderson calling USC a ‘clown college’, then Aggies new QB Kenny Hill asked about having a nickname after an incredible starting debut, Mizzou not wearing white to kick off the season, players picking schools based on their uniforms & Temple will come into your house and kick you around.

SEGMENT 2 – Ask Lawrence & Picks of the Week: Wearing disguises, that Sacha Baron Cohen could maybe fool us, furniture store in the Texas A&M area lost a lot of money since the Aggies won by at least ten points in South Carolina making a lot of his products free, other stores that recently lost a lot of money making wagers over a team, time to hear from Lawrence, he really mailed it in this week, the Picks of the Week were shaken up by adding Willie to the mix, apparently Willie was the only one who did the ‘lock of the week’ feature correctly, time for the picks, Doug upset about not knowing the picks ahead of time & ProdJoe not happy with Tim…

SEGMENT 4 – Dave Matter & Rick Horton: What we should be hoping to see in Mizzou’s first game, hopefully some chemistry with the passing game, what we know about South Dakota State, getting rid of the Big 12 type non-conference schedule, the suprising start up games in the SEC with A&M trouncing Carolina plus Vandy getting rolled by Temple at home, wish we could play Kansas in a non-conference game, no Mizzou-Kansas as long as Bill Self is around according to Dave which sucks, apparently a lot of Chicago kids like going to Mizzou now, hello to Rick, excited about #YadiFest, opportunity for Yadi to have a big impact on this up and down Redbirds club, his read on the rest of the National League that’s beginning to reveal the real teams, thoughts on how Michael Wacha could contribute to the ball club when he gets healthy, certainly asking Wacha to move along quickly & do not anticipate the Cardinals adding another bat through trade or free agency.
