SEGMENT 1 – Show Open: Just how old is Jaromir Jagr actually, sports talk radio is a 24 hour a day career, was Doug in bed with The Cat and his missus, Doug reports that Billy G’s might add a #lemming special, The Cat admires Plowsy for his courage in asking ridiculous questions, Doug is disgusted by the Question of the Day, Tim already did his taxes, discussing our reaction to the NFL to Los Angeles opus from ESPN the Magazine, Eric Grubman reminds Tim of a sleazy politician, in retrospect Grubman foreshadowed the final outcome on our show, Tim wonders if some of this ESPN content was culled from the Post-Dispatch, it still curious how the secret ballot came into play, it’s also curious how unusual it is for the owners to ignore a committee recommendation, Tim still wonders why Dave Peacock isn’t speaking publicly, the NFL might be as dirty as FIFA, in all likelihood Dean Spanos will still be forced into servitude er become Kroenke’s tenant in Inglewood, it’s still shocking that the Carson Mayor was never in touch with Spanos or Davis – sure seems like it was a bluff.

SEGMENT 2 – Doug takes a pot shot at Cal Berkley, former Raiders CEO and CBS analyst Amy Trask rejoins the program to discuss yesterday’s ESPN piece on the underhandedness of the NFL to LA process, caller reaction to the article and Amy’s commentary, caller Jim is pessimistic about the future for St. Louis, Tim thinks both the Rams leaving and Ferguson will serve as a wake-up call for the civic problems here locally, Tim is bothered by people trying to equate bringing a soccer team here as a make-good, the climate now is more favorable for change, younger people aren’t staying in St. Louis according to Tim they tend to migrate to bigger more happening cities, Doug still doesn’t believe losing a sports team will lead to financial ruin for the city.
