SEGMENT 1 – Show Open: Already sideways with Charlie sitting in, Darnell Coles now the hitting coach for the Milwaukee Brewers, roster/list of reporters, segue from Blues loss to “Gone Girl”, added adrenaline question from Cal May to Ryan Miller, fighting that flu, catching that ebola, never see it in smaller towns, familiarity with the Vanderbilt Commodores, important for Mizzou to play their game, proper way to end a news report, stronger after something doesn’t kill you, Doug does not care for any of the cliches, knowledge about potato famine, last second gifts from out of town, Doug deceptive with his gifts, call to confirm there are potatoes in Ireland, snacks we like and do not like, if fries are not available for a side, types of beans, having a caprese salad in a Caprice vehicle, call to confirm there are potatoes in Idaho, get sick from robin-feeding, interesting call wondering about mac n’ cheese, call from Patrick on the WNBA, like that caller from the Northeast & nice recommendation from Steve ‘Sevvy’ Savard.
SEGMENT 2 – Jim Thomas: ‘Cool Bathhouse’ is the football league for Draft Day, hello Jim, hot takes on Rams vs Chiefs, excitement with Austin Davis continuing to grow, quite a story so far, security guard at Rams Park not recognizing him, interesting situation with Tre Mason and Zac Stacy, wondering if Rams will do something to resolve RB situation with trade deadline around the corner, always enjoy the atmosphere of Arrowhead Stadium where Rams have actually gotten creamed the last couple visits, status on health of certain players, debate between prince and king of misinformation, Doug the plain eater claims to be an adventurous eater, the Wing-T formation in football, that Lisa Ann dating a freshman football player from Notre Dame, eating a whole sleeve of cookies & those Pringles cans are quite useful.
SEGMENT 3 – Using a ladle, chili being a form of soup according to Doug, still upset about that Steve Spagnuolo, sometimes the players get the coach the job, coaches we like the most, very tight-knit fraternity of coaches, nice working with Jeff Fisher though he cannot tell the media everything, do not forget about Spags introducing the four pillars, hard to feel bad about coach who walks away with millions of dollars, problem with using gravy boat & Frank Cusumano upset about Steve Nash being done for the season.

SEGMENT 5 – Ask Lawrence, Cuts of the Week & Email of the Day: Thank you Salt and Smoke for the wonderful treats, Doug taking too many ribs, Charlie and Cat ate all the brisket, another stirring edition from Lawrence, chewing on the air, reflecting on the week that was, Charlie now the duke of misinformation & calling chicks a ‘Cleveland Brown’.
