Blues legend Brett Hull joined The Hollywood Casino Press Box on Monday to discuss Blues-Blackhawks Game7 at the Scottrade Center.

What’s your gut feeling on what’s going to happen?
“I think we are going to come out storming. I think we are going to win. It’s probably not going to be easy. I just think this is our year. Our team has played so hard and so well battling through some key injuries. Our goalies have been their through thick and thin. This is another time I believe they’re going to step up and it’s going to be a great game for the city of St. Louis and the Blues.”
On V. Tarasenko only having the sixth most minutes among Blues forwards:
“I don’t know, he’s sixth. There’s basically two number one lines on our team so he’s in the top 6. If he was 12th, you’d wonder. Trust me, coach Hitchcock has a plan. I’m not sure what more you can ask from him, so he’s certainly not in the doghouse. But there’s obviously a gameplan that coach Hitchcock and the rest of the coaches have. But you also have to realize there’s another team out there and (Blackhawks coach Joel) Quenneville maybe understands the match-up Hitchcock wants with Tarasenko’s line and maybe his guy…aren’t getting that much ice time as they usually would either.”
