Thank you to Bernie Miklasz, who was kind enough to mention the insideSTL.com Poker Tournament in his Bernie's Bits this past Saturday.
That's big for us...as we have no idea what to expect as far as how many people plan to show up at F15teen tomorrow and how many plan to donate the $100 with portions of the proceeds going to the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
Of course, with the tournament getting the attention it's getting, there's also a growing chance that we'll fill the 200 spots that are available. I have no idea how many people we'll have at F15teen tomorrow night, but if you want to make 100% sure that you get to play with the likes of World Series of Poker Main Event chip leader Dennis Phillips, I'd get there as close to 5 p.m. when the doors open as possible.

Once we've registered 200 people---if we're fortunate enough to have that many people show up---we have to close off registration.
F15teen is giving you a great incentive to both show up early and donate $100. Starting at 5 p.m. and going until 12 a.m. (or later if you're still playing in the tournament), you can get an all-you-can-eat buffet AND drinks (beer and well drinks) for a total of $25.
That's right...if you donate $100 at the door, you get an all-you-can-eat buffet all night and drinks all night for a total of $25.
If you elect to not donate the $100, you can still get the all-you-can-eat and drink deal for a total of $50.
If you don't want to donate or pay the $50, you can still order food and drinks separately, but this deal is a pretty strong one, so we wanted to make sure it's out there for everybody in advance.
Also, we're planning on having dealers. We don't have 20 dealers lined up yet, so if you're a dealer at a local casino and want to deal tomorrow night at F15teen, please contact me at tmckernan@insidestl.com.
In order to pay the dealers and not take anything out of the cash pool, we're asking all players to contribute $5 as a cover charge upon entering. However, if you don't want to pay it, you don't have it. Ideally, we'd raise close to $1,000 to compensate the dealers...and the presence of dealers make this a much more quality event, so we came to the conclusion that it's well worth it.
So, I think we've got a nice, little event set up for tomorrow night. We look forward to a great night of charity, poker, cheap food and drinks, and the opportunity to play with the man leading the World Series of Poker. And, the best part is...you don't have to pay a dime to experience it.
