Congratulations to Brooke Higgins, who won the title of insideSTL.com Girl Next Door for April 2008 Friday night at Mandarin. On top of the $500 prize, Brooke also wins a one-year membership to The Boxing Gym, our title sponsor for Friday night's festivities.

This is one of the few times in the GND contest's history where it was really close for three competitors...not just two.

Brooke won the online vote, while Pamela won the in-person vote at Mandarin. So, the point system I referenced in my column Friday came into play in determining the winner.

Once again, the Girls Next Door Party provided some quality entertainment, a huge crowd, and many of our past Girls Next Door in attendance. Thank you to the people at Mandarin for helping us with the festivities this past Friday. We look forward to our next Girls Next Door Party at Hooters June 6th. Instead of the normal 10 p.m. start for a GND Party, this one will be the combination of a happy hour, Cardinals-Astros game-watching party, and Girl Next Door contest.

It'll get underway at 6:30 on Friday June 6th.

Also, here's a friendly reminder about this Thursday's happy hour at F15teen. We'll have Team 1380 broadcasting live, Cardinal tickets as attendance prizes, food and drink specials, and a variety of Girls Next Door on hand. All the fun and games get underway at 2 p.m., and it'll be going on until 6 following the Cardinals-Pirates game.
