The insideSTL.com 4th Anniversary Party Thursday Night At The Pepper Lounge: Producer Joe's Time To Shine
By Tim McKernan Tuesday, August 25, 2009

Thursday night at 7 p.m. at The Pepper Lounge (2005 Locust Street), Jimmy "The Cat" Hayes, Doug Vaughn, and myself will take the "stage" to do a live broadcast of The ITD Morning After.

We're expecting a variety of St. Louis sports personalities to attend and join us on the show, and we're incredibly happy to have one of the biggest names in adult entertainment, Jesse Jane, to be a guest of ours at The Pepper Lounge.

And, while many of you creeps will show up to try and take your shot at hitting on Jesse Jane, and many of you jersey-chasing, starfucking gold diggers may be lurking around any of the athletes at The Pepper Lounge like the ballplayer-load targets you are, the reality is Thursday night is Producer Joe's coming out party...and I don't mean that in the way many of you may assume I mean it.

Producer Joe will have more responsibility than any of us Thursday night, and we're certain, after his top-notch performance at The Four Seasons Sunday...in which he got so intoxicated that he lost his shoes, phone, wallet, and keys---before being taken in by security at The Four Seasons as they wondered just who the hell the barefooted gentleman was wandering about their first class facility---that he will rise to the occasion Thursday night at The Pepper Lounge.

He has his sales clients to entertain. He has guests for the radio show to book and make sure they get on and off the air in a timely manner. He has to edit the show in order to get it on the air for Friday morning. And...

...he'll be the center of attention when he moderates The Idiots' Roundtable with Friends of The Show Rudy, Timberfake, Mike Lee, and Jackie...who is scheduled to make her public debut Thursday night if we can find the home at which she resides.

Furthermore, he'll have the weight of the world on his shoulders when he goes head-to-head versus Charlie Marlow in The IQ Showdown. Each contestant is guaranteeing victory...and they've wagered $100. Charlie proclaims his greatness by noting he was on his high school's Quiz Bowl team, while Producer Joe started up a lawncare business a few years ago. Both impressive credentials.

But, someone will have to lose.

The fine people who visit this site gave Charlie the nod in our poll conducted last week by a margin of 57% to 43%.

But, maybe it's not fair.

Charlie just has to show up and attempt to answer some questions.

Producer Joe has a lot of balls to juggle Thursday night at The Pepper Lounge. But, my guess is he'll handle all of those balls just fine like he always does.

It's Thursday night at The Pepper Lounge. Doors open at 6:30. The show gets underway at 7. Producer Joe returns to glory throughout the evening.

Promoting an event using Producer Joe may be the worst marketing idea ever.

after hearing and reading about all the intelligent decisions Joe makes OVER and OVER again, even if he were to beat Charlie at the "IQ Test" we will still know Joe is not very smart.
