The time has come for the insideSTL.com Summerfest...and it should be quite amusing on Saturday August 15th at Bar 101 in Soulard. I'm not sure we could put together a better day-long celebration of Summer in St. Louis than what we have lined up for the party that will get underway at noon and go into the night at Bar 101.

To avoid beating around the bush, I shall just list what you can expect for the insideSTL.com Summerfest:

- Drink specials ranging from a $20 bracelet that will get you all-you-can-drink all-day-long Schlafly beer to $2 rails and $2 margaritas, and $3 Red Bull slushies.

- BBQ with $1 hot dogs and $2 burgers

- Sand volleyball for $30 per person. You can have four person teams or six person teams. We give you the option as there will be which you can register for by clicking HERE.

- A washers tournament...which you can register for by clicking HERE

- A beer pong tournament...which you can register for by clicking HERE

- A Johnny's chicken wing eating contest for guys...which you'll be able to register for at the event

- A watermelon eating contest for girls...which you'll be able to register for at the event

- Both food-eating contests will be judged by the well-known Wendy from Johnny's

- A bikini contest for a variety of our Girls Next Door, Johnny's waitresses, and any other lass who'd like to compete for the $750 first prize and the unlimited tanning from The Tan Co. that 2nd and 3rd place will win. We are expecting some of our fine friends from the Blues and the adult film industry to be on hand as judges. If you're interested in participating, email me at tmckernan@insidestl.com.

- And, to cap off the day-long festivities...a bikini volleyball game featuring a variety of fine lasses from the Soulard bars.
