Today is a very special day in the STL. Not only is the town still abuzz following Sunday's epic win for the Rams (CEL-E-BRATE GOOD TIMES, COME ON!), but today is the birthday of the one and only Willie McGee.
Willie turns 51 today, so do yourself a favor and think extra long about the 1985 batting champ and NL MVP. Perhaps you could do so by scarfing down a chocolate chip cookie while reveling in the fact that #51 hit .353 with 18 triples and 56 stolen bases during that Heck of a Year. Happy birthday Willie.

Onto your mid-day links.
