Tiger coordinators entertain opportunities
By Gabe DeArmond Sunday, November 30, 2008

Multiple reports have surfaced in the last 24 hours that Missouri offensive coordinator Dave Christensen was on a flight from Kansas City to Laramie, Wyoming on Saturday night for a second interview with the Wyoming Cowboys. The Cowboys are looking for a head coach and Christensen is widely considered one of the top three candidates.

Two separate newspapers in Wyoming have reported Christensen's presence in Laramie on Saturday. Various internet speculation has an announcement of Christensen as the Cowboys' next head coach possibly coming as early as Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers lost 40-37 to Kansas on Saturday and returned to Columbia yesterday evening. The team will practice on Sunday and hold its banquet before the normal weekly media session on Monday afternoon. InsideSTL.com will continue to follow this situation and keep fans updated on anything that may develop.

Defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus is also expected to be interviewing for the head coaching job at Toledo on Sunday, as reported earlier this week by the Toledo Blade.
